The unit is very spacious and has everything one needs, but unfortunately it is not clean.
Quiet, peaceful environment. Accommodation was not well equipped. Cutlery and crockery a motley lot. Refrigerator does not have all the shelves. No wine glasses. Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom basically in one room. It is very uncomfortable to cook and someone wants to use the bathroom. The bathroom is partitioned off with a wall that does not reach roof height. No water from 6 to 7 in the morning. Unexpectedly caught with hair full of shampoo when water dries up in the shower. The units could also be cleaner.
We had a really nice stay! Uncle David was very kind and even kept bottles aside so the children could give milk to the goats. There is a breathtaking view just outside the glass door. The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need. The yard is beautiful with its green grass and colorful flowers.
It's 1 open-plan room with the bathroom partitioned off. It's big and spacious. Very neat. Very convenient. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. It was a bit difficult to get there if you turn off the main road onto the dirt road. Might have been easier if I had arrived in daylight. It's a lovely environment. I would recommend the place anytime. Many thanks to the website that went out of their way to arrange accommodation for us at such short notice.

The room we stayed in was open plan, 4 beds, a small table, and sufficient equipment in the kitchen. The bathroom was in the room as well. So if you are travelling with acquaintances, not the place to stay over in. Recommended for close families and close friends.
Beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed interacting with goats and chickens. Silence does wonders for the soul.

Positive point is that there is a lot of space for the 4 persons. Good space and well equipped kitchen. All criticism I have is that the bathroom walls are not built to roof height and this can be a problem if there are 4 people staying - especially if nature calls and everyone hears.
Plekkie is really very neat, only pity for bathroom which is not really private. Feel like you're hanging out with everyone while on the toilet. No privacy in bathroom.

I am very satisfied, my children enjoyed the horses and the host was incredibly hospitable and made us feel welcome the whole time. We are like friends, instead of strangers, received and treated.
We should have asked for a non smoking room as we had tobacco odour from previous occupant. We were very cold ─ not enough warm blankets. Improvement needed to accommodate cold months.

We were there for the Wakkerstroom Arts Festival. The accommodation was close enough to the town, but in a farm atmosphere. We were warmly received and had a nice stay.
We just came through for the evening for a wedding. David was very accommodating and friendly. We also found the place quickly, thanks to his description ahead of time. Will stay at Little Farmyard Bungalows again.

The beds are comfortable, but I was disappointed with the bathroom. The whole thing is open plan, so there isn't a full wall built around the bathroom, it's only half partitioned off with an open wall between the room and the bathroom and also no door in front of the bathroom at all, so since one shares with other family (we were three people), your bathroom episode is not private at all. There are 4 beds in the room, so quite a few people can stay there, but then every sound from the bathroom is also shared. Sorry, but I think it needs to be upgraded. Maybe build a full wall and put in a door. Furthermore, one cannot sleep at all on this premises, because the owner has about 7 dogs on the plot right next to the rented units and they bark all night at the movements in the neighborhood. I think it is inappropriate.
I could not recommend this accommodation to a friend.
