We were attending a family wedding just outside Caledon and wanted to sleep over as we don't live in Caledon or close enough.
Lady who runs the establishment went out of her way to help us with the accommodation.
If you sit in the living room, you can hear the people next to your TV playing loud. This is a house that has been divided into other rooms to let out. The pool was dirty, I didn't dare to swim, and the owners were swimming when I came back from town. The ceiling fan in the room sounds like it's about to fall off as it crashes. The living room does not look like the pictures, and the furnace and bathroom are not quite finished as it appeared to me. There is also WiFi, but it keeps going away and coming back.
Very disappointed. Shower/bath water take forever to tap. Shower warm water not hot. Thin duvets, dirty kettle. Pots and pans handles broken pr non existing. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 people. Poor quality bedding.
Friendly people and very helpful. Will definitely choose the same place if I'm in that area again.
The owner says he can't do anything about it, he called the police who then didn't come either. He slept through the noise. The previous weekend it was one of the other neighbors again. So if you are looking for peace and quiet you may be disappointed. There are also a lot of steep wooden steps up to the top of the room which older people may struggle with.
The bathroom was located in the bedroom and privacy was highly compromised. To crown it all, the owners daughter and her friends decided to have a very loud party which lasted till six the following morning. I would not recommend Little Lotta Cottagers. The owners should invest a little more in their business.

For the price it is reasonable value for money. It's certainly not luxurious, but it's reasonable for just a roof over your head.

The hosts were very friendly and the cottage was clean and well kept. Easy access to the town and surrounds. Will definitely recommend and use again.
The accommodation was pleasant, but very little attention was given to detail. From the beginning, it was asked to accommodate 5 adults and upon our arrival it was not the case. It was mentioned that it was not mentioned when the booking was made. The designated cottage has a double bed and had a sleeper coach with a three-quarter bed mattress on top ─ two people were definitely not able to sleep on it. With any guest's arrival, things like WiFi code should be provided, it shouldn't have to be asked. A second cottage was made available and there was not even a new roll of toilet paper ─ only a few sheets on the roll. The fact that the booking was made for 5 people and in the end the group was split in two, left a slight wry taste.

My husband, my mother and I spent the night here. My mother had to sleep on a single bed that had a double bed mattress. The mattress was full of bumps and lumps. The pillow was also very awkward. The blinds do not draw shut to the very bottom and so the light shines through because the curtains are too small and can't be drawn shut properly. The person sleeping in this room has to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, which has a noisy door. The washing-up area in the kitchen is uncomfortably laid out and so the water splashes out of the basin.
Only problem: The stairs in our apartment will make it difficult for people with weak hips or knees. Other unit is upstairs and will have the same problem.

I requested an earlier check-in and was quickly accommodated. Als was clean, tidy and ready on time.
We stayed for 2 nights during a sporting event. Although we slept warmly, the shower was cold when the second person showered. Apparently it's a gas geyser and the taps have to be opened in a specific way if one person shower directly after the other to ensure that the geyser switches on to heat the water. 'n Proper notice explaining this should be put up to avoid any frustrations regarding the water.
