Very pleasant and we had all that we needed. Nice and quiet area and we had a little braai, which was good. WiFi appreciated.

The unit is very well equipped with everything you need, neat and clean. The decor is tasteful and unique. There is secure parking for the car behind an electric sliding gate and a private outdoor braai. The hostess is very friendly and took us for a tour of Hopefield - it was special. A stunning tranquil hidden gem for a getaway. I loved the privacy it offered with a cosy cottage equipped for my needs. With my daughter's matric farewell, Elaine had her garden cleared already for the beautiful photoshoot. One of the workers even picked lilies to decorate the swing to add to this special occasion. This space is also perfect for a retreat for some good R&R. Well-prepped for load-shedding. The bed is very comfortable which helps for the much-needed sleep. Thank you for a home away from home without breaking the bank.

Really nothing was lacking during our 3 day stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant and carefree.
Elaine is such a lovely, warm-hearted person and the cottage is perfect in every way possible. There is everything you would possibly need for your stay. The cottage is absolutely clean and comfortable and because we went in Winter, there are ample blankets, electric blankets, etc. to keep warm. Would definitely recommend Little Oak Cottage and can't wait for our next visit.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Little Oak. Elaine is very warm, friendly and helpful. She left us in peace unless she needed to inform us of something and just checked in every few days. My wife especially liked that the kitchen had everything we needed. A welcome addition would be a pool and a carport as Hopefield can get quite hot.
Accommodation is very nice with a private braai area at the unit. Unit is very nicely done, everything you need for a nice break from the city. Would recommend the place to anyone.
It really felt as if it was our own little farm cottage. There was a glitch with our booking but we ended up happier as we were fully accommodated with all our needs and more. We were lovingly welcomed by Elaine, the hostess, and she went way and beyond making us feel like family and being home. It was our first Easter weekend not being with our family but we gained a new member. The place is well maintained and my hubby loved the boma. It was a nice experience waking up to the gaggle of geese. The inside decor is exquisitely put together by blending the use of modern and upcycled material. We definitely be planning a stay at the Little Oak Cottage in winter.
