The lounge and dining area have sliding doors opening to a patio and garden with portable braai facilities, ideal to relax and enjoy the views. At the back of the house, there is a shaded built-in braai area, ideal for family get together. Unfortunately, the inside braai is not available to guests at the moment. Compact Plus DSTV available
The gated community offers a clubhouse with a play area and jungle gym for kids, a communal swimming pool, and tennis courts.

90 guests' feedbackIt was excellent. Jeanette welcomed us beautifully and even when the electricity was cut from Saturday evening past 5pm to Sunday, two maintenance men came to our aid. Though they could not do anything, just their consistent checking up on us was valued. I trust that we will be compensated in some gesture in future for the hassle with the no electricity for more than 18 hours.
Absolutely breathtaking views. The place has everything you need. My children enjoyed themselves so much. Thank you again. Will definitely return.
It is the ideal place to spend quality time with your family. It is safe, and one can walk a long way down the lagoon.

Our stay was 5/5 and the host was awesome when giving us a very warm welcome. The place had everything we could possibly think of. We literally just needed to take food. Communicating with the hosts was so pleasant.

Little piece of heaven is definitely what it is, really a beautiful piece of a view. I would advise anyone to visit it. The house is equipped with everything. It is so peaceful, you feel like a new person after a visit to Little piece of Heaven.
The name says it all. I spent my birthday there with another couple. Theresa and Oubaas are by far the nicest hosts. This was my 10th time at the same place. 10/10 to Oubaas for always going the extra mile. Always making me feel at home. Lovely place. And hope to be back sooner than later.
We had the most wonderful time, relaxing in a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed and was close enough to Hermanus if we wanted to go, but it felt like being miles away from everything and we loved every minute.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Amazing facilities in the kitchen, just some unclean items, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean. Hosts were easy to communicate with.

We were fortunate to see the wild horses. What a wonderful sight. We loved the view of the lagoon. In fact we loved everything about the house and will be back as soon as we can. Thank you for letting us stay there.
Neat, tidy, well equipped house with stunning view of the lagoon. Oubaas and Theresa are very hospitable and helpful. Nice getaway for some relaxing quiet time. Kids enjoyed the swimming facilities. Take with tennis rackets, balls as well as table tennis bats and balls as the clubhouse has facilities.

At first I thought the place was small, but there was enough space for everyone with everything you need. With a fire and a view of the lake, it is truly a place for peace and quiet!

Third time at Little Piece of Heaven. The name says it all. Oubaas and Theresa are very lovely people. Oubaas even showed us his Dragon plant that's gonna flower soon! The only bad part was having to come home.
Fabulous place with the most amazing view! Such a pleasure to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of nature. The view was the absolute best for me! My 5-year-old definitely had a blast with the open space as well as the lagoon to just run wild and it was so worth it for a family getaway. We will definitely be back again soon!
The view was excellent, it's a bit of river with the fresh ocean breeze. The bird life is something to behold, even had a bird come and sit right next to me with his beautiful colours. Oom Oubaas was really warm and welcoming. Our kids were excited about the variety of games, the adults too. This is the place to break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
My second visit to this place in less then 2months. Indeed my little piece of heaven. The host aunty Theresa and Oubaas are very lovely people. Definitely my new getaway home away from home.
The host was super nice, the place had everything we needed. Cutlery, utensils, soap, shower-gels, detergents, meat marinade the works, he even gave us milk, coffee, sugar and spices etc. We just had to bring our clothes and meat. I will definitely be going back. Five stars from me.

It was very nice for us to play with our children in the shallow water of the lake. We enjoyed seeing Kleinmond's wild horses every day. We also enjoyed the tennis courts and pool.

The little house in the woods with the lake at your feet is precious. Lovely to sit and watch the flamingos, the wild horses that come to graze at night add to the uniqueness. Walking to the sea and having the whole beach to ourselves was also a bonus.
The house is comfortable and has everything you need. If the weather is nice, it's a lovely place to hang out and rest. The view and birds around you make it blissful. Value for money, would go again.

We had a very comfortable stay. Every modern day necessity is provided, except WiFi which can only be an advantage as the environment is off the beaten track, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity. Good spot for accessing all the local offerings inland or in Hermanus.
Little piece of heaven. Really surprised us. It was not a massive house, but it was perfect and cosy. We loved our stay and having one of the best views to wake up to. The place had everything that you needed. You just need to bring yourself. From having the view, to having flamingos right in the lagoon in full view. We went for a long weekend as a group of friends. I'd recommend Little Piece of Heaven to anyone! The house has everything you need, the view is stunning and it feels like time stands still when you're there. Zelda, the lady who helped us, was super friendly and always available to answer our questions. We enjoyed every moment and would visit this house again soon!

We would definitely recommend Little Piece of Heaven for a peaceful holiday. The house is clean and tidy, everything you might need is there, and the view is fantastic. We really enjoyed it, and would love to come again.
It was wonderfully quiet and on the other side, the animals and bird life were exceptionally beautiful, the cottage was equipped with everything you would need.
Bedding was dirty and old. Otherwise, nice place and safe.
We booked for 3 nights and I want to add that we would've liked to stay longer because the place was unbelievable. It is very tranquil with the sound of the waves against the rocks. It was an experience of a lifetime. No noise and just a getaway from everything at home. I can't recommend it enough for the next group who is looking for a quiet and tranquil getaway. The place is great, we really enjoyed it. The silence and nature and the house have everything. Honestly when I say it has everything in it. You just bring your food and clothes. It's just very nice.
It was a fantastic experience. Enjoyed it from start to finish and would happily recommend it to those looking to get away from the noise of the city.
The unit was advertised with 2 bathrooms, but one of them was under construction and therefore closed. So for a family of 6 it was a challenge. The agent came to unlock it so we could at least just use the toilet. The other bathroom's sink water supply leaked and we had to use their towels to dry up all the water after a trip. We had to turn off the sink's stopcock to get it stopped. There is also an indoor braai which would be very nice to be able to use - but is also not usable at the moment. Just feel that we might consider other options if we were aware of the current state of the facilities.
It is ideal for anyone looking for a break to enjoy peaceful nature.

Little Piece of Heaven is situated with one of the best views in Meerenbosch! The "cabin" can hardly be better equipped, it has a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full DSTV, comfortable beds, comfortable couches, braai lapa, movable braai, etc, etc. A bin or two upstairs would be good additions as well as some type of mirror in the bedrooms (on the inside of the cupboard doors?). It is a short walk to the swimming pool and tennis courts and a little further to the lagoon and beach. Zelda was very helpful in finding the entrance. The directions could be a bit better as we did not find China Marius St at 15 km from the R44 / R43 intersection. It is closer to 8km and the sign says Fisherhaven - rather trust Google Maps.
