Our hostess advised us and apologised a day before our arrival that a family member would receive us on arrival as she would not be available due to a family crisis involving a motor car accident. Some positives and negatives were experienced. Reception worked ok but a bell at the gate would simplify getting hold of the host. The very compact loft room was very neat and clean with everything that we needed. Unfortunately, you will bang your head at least once against the bolt holding the thatch roof rafters up, before making sure that you duck sufficiently to get to one side of the bed. We are short people and found this quite annoying. A rearrangement of the room layout may reduce this risk somewhat. On our second night, we left our vehicle with a large trailer in the street outside and were obviously more sensitive to outside noises. We were awakened at about 01:15 by the arrival of what we believe was our stand-in host, who then seemed to prepare food and chat with someone downstairs for some time, which we could hear and had difficulty falling asleep again. About 30 minutes later he left again, and after about another 15 minutes someone arrived and hooted outside to get the attention of someone inside (no bell outside). The annoying hooting was repeated a few times, whereafter what sounded like a woman must have climbed over the gate and was knocking at the front door for quite a while. We could hear this clearly in our upstairs loft room. After no response, they left by car again. A car sounding like the same one returned about 30 minutes later and just sounded like it was stopping at the gate, but then drove off again. We were obviously hyper-sensitive to the movements outside with our car and loaded trailer parked in the street. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad night for us. The next morning, the hostess called us on our way back home to find out how our stay was, and I discussed our unpleasant experience. She apologised and did some homework and gave us feedback a short while later, with a sincere apology. We will in future rather find another place to stay, however, not as a result of our experience, but rather due to the extreme compactness of the loft room and steepness of the stairs. We would also prefer something separate from the main house.

Accommodation was very comfortable, beautifully decorated with all you needed. Very clean and neat. Even though it was very hot, it was wonderful to stay there.

We had a great stay at Little Tree Loft. It offers great value for money and is set in a nice, quiet location. We also enjoyed a really amazing breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend Little Tree Loft.

Lee Ann was friendly and immediately made us feel at home. Room was clean and a beautiful place with a nice view. We only had one problem. We booked a self-catering unit and then had to spend the night in a guest room with just a room and bathroom. Rained so couldn't barbecue, nor make anything to eat. not Ideal place for someone who just wants to sleep and doesn't want to grill or make something to eat. My husband bumped his head many times against the poles of the thatched roof because the room is a bit small. We slept well regardless of not being satisfied with what we got. We wish you all the best for the future.

Great place to just use as a resting place on a long trip. Cozy little place to enjoy and has a lovely deck area for a nice intimate dinner or just some leisure time with partner.

Was neat and perfect, appreciated the milk in the fridge. Important to mention that the place does not work well for older people due to the style of stairs. Could be dangerous. More for young, mobile persons. But we had a great stay, thank you.

Everything was very neat. The breakfast was served in the morning by our friendly hostess. Our car was also very safe which is very important to us. Friendly pets, enjoyed them just as much.
