Our stay at Littlefield was very nice and comfortable. The accommodation is very neat and clean. We felt very much at home and were welcomed from the start. We will definitely use the accommodation again when in Johannesburg.

When we arrived at the house that evening, there was no hot water and the owner knew what time we were coming. There was a soda bottle under one of the beds. We were 5 women and they only gave us one roll of toilet paper when it was asked, for us it was also a problem that we had to buy our own later. The kitchen cupboards stank of mold and they didn't give us any hot water. We should have gone and bought our own sugar. The place now has our sugar, milk and butter. The pool was dirty. There was no light outside, although there is light on the small porch near the pool. The photo that is currently shown is a trick for the people who want to book a place with them. The people were not very friendly or helpful. The garbage cans were outside giving off a lot of germs. The sofa bed cannot be seen as a bed for someone to sleep on because it is hard. One's body is very sore after a night's sleep. The fridge makes a lot of noise so the people who slept on the sofa bed got very little sleep. The shower was not nice. The water took a very long time to drain and there was a piece of plastic in the shower drain which was very messy. There were not enough towels for us and we were 5 women. If one wants to take a shower or bath there is no hot water. The place looks nice in the photo but in person it is not what it is. There are not enough wipes. The 4 star thing that is up in the living room already expired in 2011 which made one think all their stars have already fallen.

Neat place with everything we needed. The kids spent hours in the pool and we spent hours under the lapa! With that HUGE wall, gate and the ornate burglar bars, we never for one moment felt unsafe. Thanks John and Shaleen!

We had the most amazing stay! We had two friends that joined us the last minute, and we were assisted without extra cost. A fantastic property. The kids loved playing in the pool.The breakfast pack was just perfect. Thank you very much for a lovely stay we will most definitely come again!

Very good place, very quiet, neat and relaxing. Only issue was that the rules state you must be out of your unit by 10am. The host didn't need to knock on the bedroom window at 09:30 to remind us to be out of the room by 10:00.

"Fantastic, value for money little gem..."

I needed some serious ME time after a crazy, hectic year and found this little gem tucked away in a gorgeous garden. It felt like I was the only person on a deserted island. The venue was spotless and very tastefully decorated and had everything I needed. I had a very relaxing evening and left the next morning feeling very relaxed. I will most certainly be using the facilities again in the future but this time I'll make sure its for a couple of days.
