Great accommodation and very well equipped. I'd love to visit again! The secure parking was a bit of an unexpected hassle as it was a 3-lock manual gate on the other side of the main house (but easy when you're two people and don't have a knee injury).

Wow! The reception was really wonderful and surprising thank you very much! So many little surprises that were not expected, more than enough privacy as well as everything and more than the photos show. So many extras that you have to see for yourself. I would recommend the place at any time for a nice rest or just an overnight stay in the Strand, but also walking distance from the beach as well as Spar, pharmacy hairdresser and bottle store! Very private, neat and clean! Marietjie is truly a very good hostess who gives you privacy and from time to time makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need! If you look at value for money it is far above expectations!
The accommodation was unexpectedly spacious inside. The apartment was a home-from-home in a fresh environment not far from the beach and was exactly what we needed.
As it was our honeymoon and we chose Loch'nest as 1 of our destination to stay. We surely made a great choice and enjoyed the stay.

Very clean and tidy with everything you need in a self-catering unit. Only complaint is that there is no shower door so it was a bit messy but it didn't hinder our time there at all. We would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay at Loch'nest tremendously! Marietjie gave attention to small things, like a bowl of freshly baked rusks on the kitchen table! The place is neat as a pin and the area very quiet. Close to beach and shops! We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to the Cape!

We had a great stayed with Marietjie. The apartment is very tidy and neat! Her standard is very high. There was a bowl full of fruit upon our arrival. Also the tea, coffee, sugar salt and pepper are of very good quality, none of the standard bags. She is very friendly and really helpful. I can highly recommend Loch'nest.
Owner will need to repair the flush mechanism of the toilet. Annoying that you have to flush up to 5 times to remove the corpus delictum. A TV that can show the news can improve accommodation.
