No not really. We could not find our room that we booked, the aircon was out of order. They then moved us to another room but there was no water in our bathroom, the pipes were blocked. We had to wash and shower in another room, but were only lucky once when they closed the other room again. You advertise it as a B&B with the nicest dining facilities but there was nothing - it was all under renovation, so we just had to get cafe food and garage pies. Your ads are very misleading, it's very sad. The walking and MTB routes are a zigzag dirt path in the dead field with the ticks - what a disappointment.
I stayed one night and that was all it took. Would I ever suggest this to anyone for more than just an overnight stay? Not at all. The place is like a cheap Airbnb, but at the price per night of a decent destination. I actually canceled my Airbnb in town to stay at a "guest farm" instead, but the place is just a plot with a bunch of rooms. There is not a kitchen as advertised, and their excuse is "they are rebuilding it". The stoeps are not according to building regulations and are very unsafe. It needs balustrades. The furniture and utensils are of the worst / cheapest quality and there was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom to use. The shower heads don't work properly, and the "open shower" messes up the floors. We had to use the towels to dry the floors. It leaked into the room. The place is not R880 p. not worth n, it's rather worth R500 and less. To sum it up, the place should not be advertised as a guest house. At best, it's just an Airbnb for someone who needs a quick place to stay. We really wanted to spend the night in a guest house, but unfortunately I got the place now. Honestly, I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would suggest Airbnb instead.

Very clean and nice rooms. We chose it as a half way stop back home and for the price it is worth it. Unfortunately we could not visit the restaurant as we were there when it was closed. The WiFi unfortunately struggled when the weather was bad, and there was a bit of trouble with the water pump, so there were times without water, but the staff kept us informed and addressed the issue immediately.
It is a very nice guest house just outside Bloemfontein with the most beautiful animals and nice space for our children to run and play. Facilities for load shedding are very limited with no lights and no gas. I would highly recommend purchasing it. Otherwise really the nicest place to stay.
We will definitely stay here again. Children really enjoyed the zoo.
WiFi was our no 1 requirement but is too weak to work. Also no water when there is load shedding. Know that there is no restaurant, but a paddock which was already closed when we got there. Nice view from the room!
Very nice overnight stay with a family. The children really enjoyed the animals. Would have enjoyed a barbecue place, but very nice stay. Clean and tidy.
Place was neat and clean. Slept well. There was no water because the pump turned off before I could take a shower but it was sorted out after I asked. Thought it was good value for money, although it was a bit out of town.
Shower rose need repalacement more water gets out the shower than insde the shower. wifi not great reception.
The mountains and view were incredibly beautiful, a coffee in the morning on the veranda was refreshing. 1. Unfortunately we had problems with our shower that leaked all over the bathroom which was only sorted out after day 2 and we were moved to another room. 2. There is no shade for cars to park. 3. The gate to enter must be pushed open, which can work more conveniently for paid guests is to open with a remote instead (over the gate is so heavy). 4. For self-catering it would be good to put in a gas plate, as well as we don't have e.g. didn't have a grater, which is common for self catering. 5. A day before the time, we are told that a function will be held the following day and it may last until 24h at night ─ right next to our room, which gave us no privacy, and we struggled to to sleep 6. Load power works as normal, when the function is running, power is supplied. We are also paid guests for a week and no power is provided for us. 7. The paddock deli was not open at all times as advertised. 8. It says B&B on the website advertisement, which it is not. So then we feel we are overcharged about accommodation costs. 9. It's so nice with the animals there, but would suggest to please put up canopies for them. 10. We asked for toilet paper where we provided our own for 2 days during the week we were there. 11. The employee who came to clean our room was very friendly. 12. The WiFi was very weak, unfortunately could not complete business tasks. We book a lot with self-catering units and hopefully this feedback can be used for improvement, because you are in a beautiful area of nature and there is so much potential for your country house.
Lochs Hoek was a nice place to stay, just a shame they didn't inform us that there was a wedding that night. We had to stay right next to the wedding venue with small children. It was inconvenient.
Power problem with wall plugs. TV doesn't work. Fan needed because no aircon. Sufficient parking for e.g. caravans. No hook for towels or clothes in bathroom.
The rooms are beautifully furnished and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The units were spotless and tidy. Also warm despite the cold weather. Delicious dinner and useful breakfast at the restaurant. Children really enjoyed the animals and large lawn.
Room was quite spacious and clean. Cute petting zoo and walking trail on site. Was kindly received. It is however very close to a fairly busy road so it can be disturbing for light sleepers.
Ingrid makes it very cosy, if it wasn't for her we might have only slept one night.

Not close to shops and restaurants as advertised, out of town. WiFi very weak, room very comfortable and tidy.
We were told on arrival that the place supplying food was closed due to an event the day before, and no food or breakfast would be available for us. This should not be offered as an option on the website if they can just close the facility when they please. We had stipulated on our booking that we wanted to have breakfast.
