Clean, neat and quiet guesthouse very close to shops and restaurants. Rooms are a nice size and comfortable with quality furnishings. Big garden is beautifully maintained.

We stayed for a night en route to Kruger. It was a perfect stay - very clean and the owners were very helpful. The weather was cold and we had a young child. We asked for a room heater, and the owner readily arranged for one. They were also helpful with necessary contacts in the town as my son was a bit sick due to the long travel, and we needed to consult a doctor. The only feedback would be to provide a helper for moving the luggage. We had our room on the 1st floor, and carrying the luggage without a lift was difficult. The property overall was very beautiful and secure in a secure locality in town. Highly recommended.

Would not recommend the guest house. Guests who stayed there made so much noise and swam from 02h00 in the morning until 05h00. Had no sleep. The after hours number given was not answered. Asked guests to be gentler, but they didn't mind.
Very neat clean and friendly service. Everything one needs and more.
Grandchildren had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the pool with grandma, the whole stay was really excellent.
We were not given sufficient information upon check-in, so throughout the stay, it felt like we were being scolded like kids. We arrived separately with 2 vehicles but were not informed about the parking policy when my mother arrived, she was not addressed respectively on it. We were not informed about meals so we had to drive around Hoedspruit looking for food, on public holidays. We were also not aware that check-out is 10H00 as in most hotels it's 11H00 so we were chased out like dogs. I will definitely not be staying there again and will not recommend it to anyone I know.
The guest house is in a nice quiet environment. Very peaceful atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Although we were there early they still accommodated us.

We enjoyed our time here. As temperatures were well into the 30's, the pool was much appreciated.
The first night we slept on the first floor, then we had to carry our luggage upstairs ourselves and bring it down again the next morning. It's not so bad when you're young, but I'm 81 years old and my knees don't want to be so nice anymore. Next time I'll definitely insist on a room on the ground floor when I book. The second problem I have is that the cars all have to be parked outside without any protection.
Only stayed for one night but it was definitely worth the price. Very good customer service and the room was very spacious and neat.

Staff very friendly and helpful with our requests. Only stayed one night, but will definitely stay again if we have to spend the night in Hoedspruit. Room was clean, tidy, well equipped and comfortable. Early in the morning, two large warthogs trotted down the street.
On the street. Everyone walks past your room. Feel free to stay there, but just not in Room 1.

Friendly service right from the front door to the kitchen. Lovely garden and clean facilities. The chef went out of her way with the home-cooked meal and dessert.

The lady at reception was friendly but not knowledgeable. Made me feel uncomfortable because she wasn't sure if our stay had been paid in full. The room was sufficient but the aircon didn't work.
I would like to visit the area again. It is a customer friendly area with good facilities. The service is of best quality and the rooms are clean and the environment is safe. It is a quiet area where you can enjoy yourselves and can even invite friends to come along and have a good time there when you're visiting the province.

It was just for the night, but I enjoyed my stay. I just forgot to mention to the owner: I had no hot water that evening when I wanted to shower. The dinner and breakfast was very nice.
Due to the layout of the building, it is difficult to move with luggage to the room. Not safe parking for your vehicle. Room's ceiling fan was broken as well as mosquito netting in front of bathroom window.
The parking area was filled with Toyota vehicles and a truck and there was no parking space for us. On arrival the lady on duty was blatantly inept about the room we were allocated, even though we had called ahead to confirm we were 3 adults. The remote control provided for the entry/exit at the gate was not attached to the room keys and was also out of order. The man who answered the bell was inept and curt. We arranged for breakfast, the dining hall was full of construction workers, there were no tables set, not enough food, cutlery, glasses etc. not. No what, it was a most unpleasant experience. Loerie never sees me again.
Many thanks to every staff member of the guest house. We were literally blown away when we got there. Regardless of our state of mind, the lady at reception helped us a lot and remained friendly throughout. Even accepted my sullen appearance with a smile. We had a very nice undisturbed rest. Very pleasant guest house. Owner was on site and welcomed us. Supplied us with a lock-up facility for our fully loaded vehicle and trailer. Very large room with 3 beds and sleeper couch. Clean and comfortable. Close to town centre.

It meets basic requirements except that there is no lock-up parking space for vehicles. Vehicles sleep on the pavement and without a security guard. This makes us Gautenians nervous.

Branches of trees rub against zinc on canopy in front of bedroom window. Reception unprofessional. Shower takes 4 minutes before the water is hot. No good coffee and milk in room. Only Ricoffy. Bedside light does not always short out.
