The town of Clarens offers great activities ranging from white water rafting, zip lining, hot air balloon trips, horse riding, fly fishing, quad biking etc. to ensure for a great getaway. Afriski is a skiing resort in Lesotho that is about 2 and a half hours drive from Clarens.

The guest house was perfect for one night and offered nice space for 6 adults.
Very beautiful and looks like in the photos. Closets in the rooms would definitely be recommended. The drainage of both showers must also be looked at, when you shower the whole bathroom is under water and the guest bathroom's water ran into the living room. The guest bathroom and toilet almost inside the living room are definitely not ideal. Also a better canopy and braai area would definitely be recommended.
Comfortable accommodation, walking distance from town. Bianca really goes out of her way to make all wishes come true. Will definitely consider their place again next time.
Great place - unit was nice and big for 6 people plus our toddler. Location was awesome as the view was stunning. We were treated to cows walking past in the morning and back home in the afternoon. Ignore the reviews about safety being an issue, we only saw the local workers from town walking past in the morning and evening, nothing dodgy at all. It would be great if the place had a swimming pool, that would be my only recommendation.
The accommodation was lovely and the location perfect. We will definitely go back there again.
Finding accommodation that is centrally located, reasonably priced and has sufficient bathrooms & bedrooms for a family is always challenging, Lola's Luxury Self-Catering ticked all the boxes, beautifully! My only recommendation would be a small floor mat alongside the beds - the cement floors are really chilly!
Lola's was really a cute and unique place and we enjoyed our weekend very much. We were sad to pack up and return home. They were also very accommodating with our two dogs who enjoyed it just as much. We were welcomed with sherry for a nice cold winter evening, there was a bottle of milk in the fridge, and soap, cream and shampoo in the bathrooms. Thanks for the great stay! Lola's will definitely see us again!

We had a very nice stay, very clean and modern, would like to recommend the following: TV will be appreciated, especially with children and weather is bad and one has to stay indoors. Wardrobe to hang clothes especially if you stay longer than a weekend. The braai can be challenging if it's raining or the weather bad, it's open.
Accommodation is neat, very central and very beautiful. Entry to home is just a big security risk. Would not like to use the entrance again.
The entrance from the street into the yard is extremely dangerous and difficult to use. Better parking is also a necessity. Broom was not provided.
For sure one of the most beautiful places where we have stayed overnight, everything you can think of is there, incredibly quiet and peaceful. Will go back for sure.
I would definitely recommend Lola's Luxury to anyone. It was truly unforgettable and we definitely intend to go again. The log fire every night was like a highlight in the unit with the cold outside just wanting to come in. It was a lovely warm stay and very tidy. Five out of five.

A beautiful piece of jewel - a real get away and experience peace place. The most beautiful surroundings, hospitality as only the countryside can offer! Everything was beautifully prepared for our arrival - the stylish room was very clean and fresh. The milk in the fridge, the plenty of water for us Capetians and the nice chat with our hostess made it just as special. We will definitely go back, if only to sit on the porch, drink coffee and appreciate the beautiful scenery. Well done - we will sell you everywhere - it was nice to meet you!
Very neat and well appointed place with everything you need for a break. Very well located with a beautiful view. Service was excellent and the welcome pleasant. A pleasant surprise and definitely worth a return.
The cottage was beautifully decorated and came with all the essentials, including milk and ice in the fridge and a welcoming sherry. The views were beautiful from the well-shaded patio, and with the floor to ceiling sliding doors, you could easily also snuggle inside during the colder months and watch the mountains.
Very friendly received by owner. Beautiful, clean, very comfortable. The location and scenery is something you have to experience for yourself to really appreciate.

Lola's was a nice place to stay, where we and our dogs could stay comfortably. The interior is excellent and the place is well equipped with everything you need. If one goes for longer than two days, it will require that better provision be made for cleaning service or equipment, as well as storage space or hanging space for clothes. The road in front of the house is a passage for the town's workers, which makes you feel a bit exposed and makes the dogs bark, but the owner has indicated that in time a wall will be erected to improve privacy, which is good will be. Despite this, our family had a blissful time in Lola's.
The unit is very well laid out and tastefully furnished. The welcome is very warm and soon knew what was happening where in the area. Our family will visit again and will recommend the place.
Good value - bathroom and toilet leading into living area not ideal. Short doors that close tightly - one is not comfortable using the toilet with guests in the living area.
Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The views from our cottage were so beautiful. Our host Helena was most hospitable. We would loved to have stayed longer but we most certainly will be back.

We had a lovely stay in the house in Clarens. It is very well located, within walking distance of Clarens Square and all the action. The house has all the necessary luxuries that a house needs, it is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed it.
A beautiful place. I would recommend it for a weekend stay, but not suitable for more than 3 days as there are no wardrobes in the bedrooms.

It was particularly nice. The view is breathtaking and it is conveniently located close to the town without you noticing that you are staying in the town. The facilities are excellent and the service was very good. Our toddler really enjoyed the yard and we the fireplace.
