42 guests' feedbackWe had a really nice stay. Absolute value for our money and the hostess was simply awesome! She stayed in touch when we were on our way. Made sure we could get into our accommodation quickly and there was coffee, tea, sugar etc. which we probably didn't expect for a self-catering place. Very, very neat and extremely comfortable. WiFi code was immediately available and it's a place I can recommend for staying! My next time there it will be my immediate choice! Well done Lollee's Cottage!
Loved it. Space for my dogs. But glad we didnt have to cook there, stove needs to be replaced. But such a relaxing place bar the main room bed being yo hard for my pensioner parents.

Enjoyed stay. Yard is natural and scenic. Swimming pool added to children's joy. Gate system and shower drain hole need fixing.
It's one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, the apartment has everything, nice covered braai area, a nice deck where you can drink your coffee in the morning while looking at the sea. It's nice and close to the quiet and clean beach, and close to shops. Everything was just perfect, I will definitely stay there again. Laurette is a friendly hostess, but at the same time she doesn't step on your doorstep.
It was delicious. All problem was hot water, place needs a new geyser.
Owner is very friendly. Place is very neat and clean. A few minutes walk from home to Gonubie Beach and Boardwalk. The sea view was amazing.

However, despite the hostess being extremely friendly, there was no electricity available upon our arrival. However, the hostess came and charged electricity on the meter. The milk provided was so sour that it had already formed lumps.
Pictures are a bit confusing. 2 units on one site. The guests of the cottage are on your doorstep and inconvenient if you want to hang out on your porch. The house needs TLC.

What a great week. Friendly and helpful, the service is excellent. The accommodation is very good, clean and tidy. Everything you need is there and more. The area is quiet and nice and close to everything. Highly recommended.

It's a quiet environment and the view was awesome. Everything a person needs was there and you didn't need to use your own.
Lovely place, it is great for a family vacation as there is a shared bathroom. We spent one night as I was catching an international flight, but it was amazing. Thanks Laurette for the beautiful stay.
For a change we were not at all disappointed with our stay. Many times the internet is used to look for accommodation and when you get there it is only negative! Laurette was very friendly. The house was spacious and clean. We could easily walk down to the sea with the little ones. We were just a little bit uncomfortable because there are no burglar bars in front of the windows (probably because we are locked up like that at home!) I can recommend Lollee's Place.

It was wonderful to stay here! The owners were very friendly. The unit is close to the sea (walking distance) and restaurants and well-equipped, also for people with pets. We really enjoyed it!
Laurette (owner) made us feel very much at home. The cottage was fully equipped with everything a holidaymaker would need. Laurette was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We would love to stay there again when we visit Gonubie.

WiFi was not available and the oven of the stove did not work. Other than that it was pleasant.
We had a great stay - just would have wanted the place cleaned while we stayed there (7 nights). With small children the floors need to be washed regularly, bathrooms as well, garbage need to taken out, etc. - and it didn't happen.
Bed in main bedroom very uncomfortable. DStv doesn't work at all. Gas bottle for stove in kitchen not safe. Braai area wasn't cleaned for two days and the braai grill isn't fit for braai and we had to go and buy our own. Silverfish in the building is not controlled. Kitchen had a terrible smell.

We are sorry to say that we did not enjoy our stay at Lollee's Place at all. We feel we were misinformed. It is not suitable for young children, very unsafe and not private at all. My two year old could not even once go out of the house by herself, I was so scared she was going to fall off that dreaful ramp! The DStv package is totaly outdated, not even one sport channel! The place was not up to standard, broken towelrails, stained shower curtain, unpainted walls, stained bath, outdated and broken crockery! And the place was filthy! I spent the whole first day of my vacation cleaning! This was totally not my idea of a good vacation and we paid the full price, which we feel is totally too much for what we got! Sorry Lollee's Place, you won't see us again!

I would stay there again anytime. Value for money. Felt safe. Pets only bothered my husband a little. However, nice clean and comfortable! Everything was there that we needed.

Good if you're looking for a cheap overnight in East London.
My stay at Lollee's Place has been wonderful! The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very spacious and facilities were great. I will be back when ever I am in the area.
