Convenient and off the books.
In the centre of the buzz in Long Street. Exciting! Friendly staff, safe parking, comfy beds and very clean. It is in a very noisy street, so be prepared, but that is what makes the stay so exciting.
The hotel is well located if you like nightlife and would like to explore.
It was nice. the only problems is their wooden floors other then that its a lekker comfortable place and also near everything. . Thank you.
Should you want to book a hotel, not to sleep in, please go ahead and book here. They do not disclose that there are 2 clubs below the hotel. I slept for a maximum of 3 hours in 2 days. My windows were shaking from the music in the clubs below! Not the hotel's fault, I realize, but book here at your own risk. I was in Cape Town for business, not pleasure. Maybe it would have been a different experience if I was there for loud music at 3 am, drinking, and hard drugs!
We were offered drugs by a crooked person at the front door. And the next morning I was woken up by a tremendous fight, shouting, swearing. You could hear the people hitting each other. And it went on like this for at least 30 minutes.
Clean and comfortable room, safety rated 3 stars because anything can happen anytime and SA is not 5-star safety in general. This is no reflection on the hotel at all. Wi-Fi stays on during loadshedding which is convenient.
Beautiful old hotel. Even on weekdays, the old floorboards vibrate until 3 am. Not Eskom's load shedding can stop it! Definitely for those who are younger than 25 and some until the early hours of the morning.
The hotel is very nice but the area does not feel safe. I will not go there again with my family. Loud music played throughout the evening until the next morning. The hotel would probably be better suited for younger people who want to party.
Perfect location for my partner and I. Especially because it was our first time in Cape Town. We got to visit all the nearby restaurants and places. Customer service was on point and friendly staff.
Very tidy, hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The music on the street was unbearable. Not at all recommendable on a weekend.
The environment was just a little too busy for us.
The hotel's location is perfect, rooms are clean and serviced every morning, felt very welcome.

Unbelievably good service and reception. Nice to enjoy Long Street's night life without having to be a part of it, and then to close the doors and the noise is gone. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had an overall enjoyable stay, staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable.
We decided on the spur of the moment to stay another night and it was no problem. They immediately helped us with the same room. We had a really lovely stay.
We had a function in Langstraat and it suited us very well. Friendly service. Centrally located. Double glazed windows help with the noise from the street which is busy all night! Room was clean, tidy with a huge bed!
Lovely, clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent service from the staff.
Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a good variety, but parking is a big problem. They have no parking, but they have 2 parking spaces by the church at R100 per night. We parked in the street and then you still have to pay for parking during the day, but at least there's security on the street at night.
