The garden is an ideal birdwatchers' paradise.
In addition, Longtom Farm Guest House offers a swimming pool, and barbecue facilities. Breakfast (an additional extra) is served in a beautiful dining room and we can recommend a variety of restaurants for dinner, which is only five minutes from the guest house.

Longtom Farm Guesthouse is beautiful, very well located and safe. The accommodation was clean and spacious and very lovely to stay in. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we received great recommendations for things to do in the area.
I was received kindly and generously. The spacious guest room testifies to fine taste and style. It is fully and comfortably equipped: from a wall heater, safe, full length mirror, microwave etc. A well-kept garden with garden benches and a swimming pool creates the feeling of space. The 3 km dirt road to the guest house can be driven comfortably with an ordinary sedan car.

Fantastic Guesthouse. We arrived strangers but departed friends. I have never seen such big and well-equipped rooms in a Guesthouse. There is everything you could want in the room and if it's not there, the owner will find it for you.
Absolutely divine! A beautiful stop over on our way to Orpen Gate, KNP. Beautiful host with so much love and personality. We had a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay.
No, I didn't have a good time. I specifically booked a single room and that's not what I got. They didn't give any reason why and it didn't seem like it was a problem for them.

Guesthouse not suitable for self-catering for more than 2 people. Is not conveniently located for sightseeing on Panorama Route. Far and roads in Lydenburg and to Pilgrimsrust/Belfast are very bad - Sorry!

I had a very nice stay at Longtom. Premises are nice and tidy, you get a real farm feel, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The ideal overnight place for a business trip.
The 11 hours without power after a thunderstorm was unwanted. From a 4 star rating we would expect that there would be at least standby power and that breakfast or dinner would be served. We definitely won't be coming back.
The room I booked was not available. Was kindly received, room is very nicely equipped, it's very quiet and peaceful on the farm. It was just difficult to get my bag to the room.
Beautiful and exquisitely decorated rooms. The Sunday breakfast basket has a large variety and is very exquisite.
Annette is the perfect hostess. Even a power outage doesn't get her down. Place is fully equipped and very tastefully decorated.
Bettie went out of her away to allow us to book in a bit earlier as we had a wedding to attend, and helped us with directions.
Extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant staff/owners. The room layout is spacious and filled with tasteful furniture. The private patio/porch overlooking the garden was a pleasant surprise. It's the little things that count and there were loads of them in this guest house. A wonderful experience!

It is lovely booking a place where people still have passion for what they do. The passion is clearly visible in the neatness of the rooms and the small things that just makes this place stand out from the rest. Can definitely recommend Longtom Farm for anyone to stay overnight or longer.

Generally very neat accommodation. Some problems experienced, but have been sorted out.
Only stayed here one night for a wedding in the area, but it was adequate and tidy. The hostess was also very helpful.

The road through Lydenburg is very bad and the drive to the guest farm is a bit sideways, but it was safe. The breakfast was very nice and the rooms were nice and clean.
