Everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the food excellent, the pool fabulous. The whole experience was wonderful.
There was a pupa on the curtain. When a silkworm turns to a butterfly. And that takes long, does that mean no one is looking up at the curtains? When we arrived there was no one to take us to our room, we were busy wandering around in the rain and we were assisted by a waiter from the restaurant. After I got our key I was just told it's the room facing the restaurant. That's all. I had to figure it out in the rain with my 2 kids.

There is only one wall plug for 2 bedside lamps without a lead. So just one bedside lamp worked. There was too little tea in the room available. Two single beds are used for a double / king size bed. Wi-Fi reception in the room is poor/unavailable. TV stations are weak.
Power cables hang in a nest and it's very dangerous at power points in room. Furniture is very dirty and has not been cleaned for a long time. Shower is falling apart and needs a lot of attention, it works and sprays just barely, hot and cold tap is reversed. Room door cannot lock and was previously repaired but very poorly repaired. Bathroom cabinet with sink is crooked due to pipes behind the sink are very loose, TV is crooked and wants to fall! Couldn't sleep well with all the mess in the room! Would not recommend it at all. The hotel is totally over rated and won't even get a one star from me! Me and my wife's accommodation was very poor and actually want my money back. It is not at all worth the money we paid, I travel a lot! Will not trust LekkeSlaap again!

As a businessman everything was to my liking.
As soon as we approached the front desk, we were greeted with a smile. It happened that they booked me to a room I didn't like. This was because of the misunderstanding when the initial booking was made. They served me with a smile, willingly and gave us another room with no extra charge. They blew me away.
It was a fantastic stay. I did the marathon the next morning, checked out so terribly early, but received the best breakfast package, which was really unexpected. My only criticism would be that the restaurant does not have many vegetarian dishes.
Room was clean and lovely. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed all our meals, breakfast buffet was super! Enjoyed our 3 night stay for Bokkieweek at Gimnasium School. Will choose this hotel again.

The Hotel is very nice, but service is somewhat of a problem if you want to use the restaurant. There was a conference at the hotel, so all staff were focused on it. As far as I know, there were only 2 other guests in the Hotel (1 of which was me), but in 2 hours I was not once asked if I was still ready or if I wanted to order yet. I had to go and call the waitress to place an order. I called 3 different waiters every time I wanted to order/request something (had to approach them on the run). It is clear that the focus was on the conference, and not the other guests, which is understandable, but a follow-up by a waiter would be appreciated. The medium rare steak I ordered was well done and very dry, then you pay R35 for a terrible little bowl of mushroom sauce that doesn't even cover your steak. Breakfast was exactly the same - had to go in twice to ask for coffee and the food was nothing to write home about. The room was very nice and clean - just the few ugly spiders in the hallway might need to be looked at. The best part of the Hotel is the receptionist - Very professional and friendly. The hotel is good for larger functions and conferences, but definitely not for a business stay for a night or 2.
From the moment of arrival, the hospitality of the friendly staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The food was top notch and the room was exactly and better than I imagined myself to be. Thank you very much for a fantastic stay. We will definitely stay there again.
This hotel is a hidden gem. From reception to the beautifully furnished room.
Since we got there the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The service was fantastic and the breakfast even better. Would like to stay there again when next I'm in the area.
Room was clean and tidy, warm and friendly reception.
Their family room is not ideal when you're with teenagers. No privacy at all. I had to book another room of which I still feel I should have gotten a reasonable discount. As for cleaning, they just do touch up. We slept with the same linen throughout our stay. I mean even 3 star hotels change the linen and hand towels daily.
From arrival to departure everything was perfect. Would have loved to relax by the pool area it was just too hot to be outside without an umbrella.
Enjoyed my stay and could easily have stayed there a week or longer. The food was incredible. My steak was one of the best I have ever eaten.
I will recommend Lord's Signature Hotel to anyone. The facility is beautiful and the staff are the friendliest I have every enocuntered. We felt welcome immediately.
