31 guests' feedbackWe felt really welcomed with a sweet bottle of wine (compliments of the farm) and a personalised welcome card. The place was neat, the staff very friendly and warm. The food is fantastic. The scenic beauty of the mountain view with 'cloud candies' and vineyard adds to the ambience and beauty of nature's blend with the farm. It's enjoyable to run up Boesmanskloof hills and return to a welcome from calm colours of blue cranes taking a stroll by the small dam. It was indeed lekker!
We had a lovely anniversary weekend and will definitely be back! Justin was very helpful and friendly. See you soon!

The Lord's Wine Farm house was very clean and tidy. We had a great stay and had a great time. Breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere - would definitely go again!
A beautiful hidden gem just about 15 minutes outside of McGregor :-). The stay with its beautiful, breathtaking and beautiful landscape was such a wonderful surprise, especially to have the beautiful Blue Crowned Bird couple with us as neighbors. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and fresh, a modern and classy touch, very spacious, including fresh and clean bedding and towels. The WiFi was excellent and the food was amazing and tasty. The Lord's Wine Farm wine tasting with Samuel was wonderful, fun, cozy and informative, definitely a must do because their wines are fantastic. A big thank you to the owners Jackie and Jacques, also Samuel, Justin, Mandall, Yvonne, Nandelaine, Shandre and the rest of the staff for your wonderful hospitality, kindness and helpfulness. You are all so precious, a very beautiful family who really made our weekend extra special, we will definitely be back :-). This beautiful gem with its beautiful people is highly recommended and definitely exceeded our expectations:-)!
Fantastic stay. Only small things like the bathtub's plug (room closest to the TV) which was not right and therefore the bathtub could not be used. 6 people remained, but there were only 3 chairs on the porch (inside chairs carried out). Struggled with the plates from the stove/wanted to use the microwave, but there were no bowls for them. These are not complaints, we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book again.

The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty are just the right escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The tasting room with the most delicious wines is definitely also worth a visit.
Very peaceful and quiet. Apartments are below the tasting room but well insulated from any noise during the day. The weather was very hot, so air conditioning would have been great. This is the only reason for giving 4 stars for value for money.

What an absolute pleasure to stay in the beautiful, well kept, spotlessly clean house, with all the amenities needed. The house is spacious, with a huge dining room table, an indoor and outdoor braai area, and a fire place for cold winter days. The bedrooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. We had the best anniversary weekend at Lord's Wine Farm, with amazing staff who really did everything they could to make us feel at home. The location is beautiful, with 360 degree views of mountains and vineyards, and the rooms are lovely.
The unit does not really cater totally for self-catering as the fridge is a tad small and there is no cooking facility other than the braai. Jacques made up for that by offering complimentary coffee and breakfast in the morning. He really went all out to make our stay absolutely enjoyable and hence we left with a few cases of their fantastic wine too.
Very tidy, excellent service, very very friendly staff, you have your own privacy and it's definitely value for money. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Keep up the good service.
Just tell prospective guests to McGregor that there are no, no eateries open in town on a Tuesday night. We had to drive to Robertson.
My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Lord's. The house is nice and big with a breathtaking view. The Lord's wine farm's wines and food are also top notch. It was just what we needed.
