The Crowned Eagle House is strategically positioned on the top of a plateau ridge right next to a small waterfall and the start of the indigenous Goso State Forest, overlooking expansive hills. It is an idyllic spot where nature lovers and adventure seekers can hear birdsong and the sounds of nature all throughout the day. The house has its own private kitchen and en-suite bathroom facility.
The Family Rondavel has a double bed and 2 bunk beds that have shared use of a communal kitchen area, communal ablution facilities with hot showers and a composting toilet with magnificent forest views. There is a braai area nearby with comfortable seating accompanied by breathtaking panoramic scenery.
Camping is also available at various spots in the garden for people who love their privacy and want to be as close to nature as possible.
As soon as you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the stunning view, the endless green rolling hills, and the ocean in the distance. There are many viewpoints nearby and a fantastic forest for you to explore. You can relax and enjoy the sunset while listening to the night sounds coming alive as well as spend the evening at the campfire and count shooting stars in the dark. Experience the silence of deep dark Africa. Sunrise is also not to be missed, so get up early if you can.
A vehicle with high ground clearance is needed to get to Louis at Magwa Falls. If your vehicle isn’t suitable, a pickup in Lusikisiki can be arranged at an additional fee. You will be spoiled by an overdose of beautiful nature as you pass through rural villages along the way. The dirt roads are surrounded by hills dotted with colourful Mpondo huts, local people, cattle, chickens, dogs, and kids playing.

Guests have shared use of a rock shower and gas showers for short hot showers, and a composting toilet that boasts a magnificent forest view. Guests can make use of a communal self-catering kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, a gas fridge, preparation table with cutlery and crockery, and a rocket stove in the middle with seating around it to keep everyone warm on cooler evenings. The braai area is comfortably nearby, situated just outside the kitchen door. It is stocked with plenty of firewood.
