Was an overnight place for us for a wedding nearby. So we used few facilities. Think it's an ideal place for a large group that wants to spend the weekend together. Beautiful surroundings.
We were very late, only arriving at 1am, but Wimpie, the manager, was still awake and very helpful and kind to help us. Waited by the side of the road in his van with his lights on, so we could arrive safely. Beautiful clean rooms, newly renovated with good beds. Pleasant communal living area. Had a stunning view of the pond and grassy hills when we opened the curtains this morning, truly a wow. Had a beautiful feeling song as an alarm clock. Will definitely come again.
Wimpie was very friendly and helpful. A large, closed lapa with TV, WiFi, snooker table and enough seating which helped a lot, because it rained a lot over the long Easter weekend. Will definitely go again.

We went to a wedding at Siesta. Check in first; no problems getting there with the help of Goole Maps on mobile The night on the way back my phone was dead and we couldn't find the turn because pns didn't know the name of the turn. Would recommend they put up a clear sign so it can be clear from both sides in the evening. We left the reception at ten o'clock and didn't get to the place until half past two. Was back to Frankfort twice. Everyone knows where the place is but doesn't know the name of the exit. Fortunately, a person at the car port charged our phone. Couldn't call you either because phone was dead with the details on it. But we will spend the night there again some time.

Great company and prices. Only thing that was an issue is the shower that was a little to small.
Nothing was available to do, no horse riding, no game, no riding motorbikes. Water pressure terrible and the power off frequently.

Lourenza Wildlife is an ideal environment to come back to a farm environment where you can just relax. Drink coffee on the porch while listening to the night sounds and experience peace and rest in your heart. Visiting Lourenza Wildlife gave me a chance to get closer to my Creator with the tranquility.
We had a great stay, the place is beautifully clean. The host made us feel right at home. They might just look at a few small things that need attention, like the towel hook that is down in the master bedroom & the kitchen door that wants to fall off.
Lourenza Game Reserve offered more than we wanted. Small repairs to large farmhouse, (wardrobe, mirror) in master bedroom would be a plus. Otherwise everything we wanted or could need was available. Will definitely visit again.
It is shocking in what a dilapidated state Lourenza Wildlife Reserve's pool, garden and buildings are. The pool was dirty and clearly only maintained in the summer. The lounge and bar area was locked and we had no access to it. Boma was untidy and served as a storage place for garden tools. No heater in room to dispel the Free State cold and broken windows are tied with ropes. Bedding was neat and host friendly. They are not equipped at all to receive guests during the winter.

We spent Christmas together as a family and everything was comfortable and cozy. Wimpie's service was also very friendly and helpful. We had free access to the game camp but the animals were very wild. Very suitable for large groups.

Beautiful location, wonderful birdlife, great beds and bedding. No comfortable place to sit and relax.
Accommodation was great. It's just a pity that the animals are very scared of people, so they won't come close, maybe because of the hunting. There is a large variety of animals, but, unfortunately no way of getting close to me.
This place needs some maintenance, but it was neat and clean. Ideal for a stopover.
Has potential but needs some attention. No towel rails. Window with a problem to close. No toilet paper holder. No bowls to make salads or to prepare anything in microwave. No egg lifter. Cupboard door knob loose/broken. Very uncomfortable kitchen sink setup. Not enough chairs in lounge area. Broken chair backrests. Pretty interior. Nice pool and entertainment area. Very helpful and friendly manager.

This is the countryside as you want to experience it on a farm. The breakfast was 10 out of 10.
Would be nice if there was something like putt-putt courts and any sports items to keep busy, especially for the kids.
Real real farm atmosphere away from the noise, animal noises and the little wind that blows makes one forget all the stress completely.
An absolutely tranquil environment for a peaceful weekend away from the city.
The manager's service was very good. The house was clean. More mirrors in room would be better and hooks in bathroom for towels.

The activities that are advertised are not up to par, it's disappointing. Everything else was perfect!
The stay was great, the rooms were beautiful...was only disappointed about the dirty pool. Hanneli was definitely a great host, very warm and welcoming, although the area is not my most ideal as it was quite far from everything. Great weekend nonetheless.
We had a great stay and the reception was also good. Just one suggestion: a mirror in the master bedroom and possibly soaps for those of us who forgot.
