House rules

- Cash is not accepted on arrival. All booking fees, cleaning fees and the refundable security deposit must be paid at least 14 days before the check-in date.
- A daily cleaning service is available at an additional cost. This service includes washing dishes, making beds and cleaning the braai and pool. The payment of cleaning services can be done via EFT into the host's bank account and must be paid in full 1 week before the check-in date. If for some reason the cleaning team is unable to access the premises, the customer remains responsible for the payment.
- No music or noise is allowed between 22:00 and 07:00.
- Only animal feed available at the local shops in Marloth Park can be fed to the animals.
- The agency accepts no responsibility for power outages caused by load shedding, bad weather or any other cause beyond its control.
- Guests accept financial responsibility for any fine imposed by law enforcement.
- Please note, by paying the deposit, the customer accepts this quote and agrees that the owners and/or their agents have the discretion to withhold a portion of the total security deposit. Examples of cases where the security deposit may be forfeited include:
1. When the property is left in a different condition than in which it was initially found. R500 will be forfeited.
2. When bedding and towels are either damaged, very dirty or gone, up to R1000 per item can be forfeited.
3. If any of the furniture is damaged, the total security deposit can be forfeited. Customers will be held responsible for the total replacement of the damaged items. No furniture may be moved without the permission of the owners.
4. If any of the equipment or facilities such as the TV, microwave, fridge, stove or oven are damaged the full security deposit can be forfeited.
5. Loss or damage to keys or alarm control, the full security deposit will be forfeited.
6. Damage or loss of remote controls or rechargeable lights, forfeit R500 per item.
7. Damage to decorations, photos, frames or boma/braai equipment, forfeit R500 per item.
8. Loss or damage to crockery or cutlery, forfeits R50 per item.
9. If leaving the premises without activating the alarm or closing the windows and doors, forfeits R500 per case.
10. If black garbage bags are not placed in the black bag holder at the entrance of the premises on departure, R150 per bag will be recovered from the deposit.
11. Smoking or vaping inside the house. forfeits R500 per case.
12. Late check-out without prior permission by the owners, forfeits R250 per hour or part thereof.
13. If access to the premises is blocked when the owner or their agents request access, the total security deposit will be forfeited and guests will be requested to leave the property immediately.
14. If the general rules of Marloth Park are not followed, the total deposit will be forfeited and guests will be requested to leave the property immediately.
