The accommodation was just perfect. It is spacious, comfortable, private and very clean. Added to that is the affordability, back up power during load shedding and the excellent hosts. The hosts were very friendly and gave us a number of suggestions of things to do and see in the area. The place is bright, super well-equipped and about a 2-minute walk to the dunes and the beach. The beach is great for swimming and for walking in both directions. If I could give this place more than 5 stars - I would. Definitely a place to return to.

We had a great stay at Lulu's cottage. The apartment is tidy and equipped with everything you will need for a weekend getaway. The area is quiet, safe and close to the sea.
The hosts were amazing, they were super friendly and very willing to assist us. We got good tips for fishing spots, excellent references for eateries and loads of site seeing tips. The cottage was very clean and cosy. It was insane how they had every possible need covered, this included a TV tray, clothes horse, brooms, iron and ironing board and the list goes on. Loved that load shedding was not an issue as they had an inverter. Very happy that they offered Wi-Fi.

Not only was the flat spotless, but it was also perfect in every respect. The owners have gone to the expense of installing solar energy. This means that it is one of the very few properties that give you what you pay for, ie. aircon, TV, lights, etc. Other holiday lets could do well to follow suit.
We had such a nice stay. Apartment has everything needed. Delicious sea bream blowing in. Quiet and peaceful environment, walking distance from sea. Comfortable place, but it gets awfully hot, especially in the bedroom. There is an aircon in the kitchen, but it's far from the bedroom. Slept with the door open to the outside, but got terribly hot at night. A ceiling fan will help. Other than that it was nice. Friendly hostess and husband.
The stay was excellent. Stilbaai is a lovely safe place. Will come again.

The place is well equipped, very comfortable. Clean and tidy. We really appreciated that the owners gave permission for us to take our poodle child with us.
Charmingly decorated, very clean and extremely well equipped. There is even a gas bottle with a cooker top and an enamel-coated teapot for load-shedding times. Very quiet area but cross the road, cut through a property, over the dune and you're on the beach. Hosts Santie and Iain were friendly and helpful. We look forward to another stay.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. It was a pleasant stay and our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They showed us a short cut to the beach from their house and helped us with other requests very willingly. We enjoyed our time although it was pouring with rain for most of the time. We still felt rested and comfortable.

As my stay was far longer than a normal holiday stay, the cottage served my purpose well. The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable holiday, and is close to shops, Restaurants, the beach and the river. The owner is friendly and will go out of her way to accommodate you when needed, and to make sure that you are happy. I will happily recommend Lulu Cottage as a holiday destination.

It was such a pleasure to stay there for 3 days. We had a good rest and could walk to the beach close by for exercise.

As far as Lulu's Cottage is concerned, the above suffices us. All that bothered me a little is the shower, which has no door and is tiled, but smooth after frolicking like a bird in a bathtub.

We had a great time at Santi and Ian's place. The apartment is very well equipped, the room and bathroom are nice and big and there is really everything you could need. The apartment does not have a sea view, but it overlooks the dunes behind Stilbaai and the area is nice and quiet and only a few steps from the sea.

Very nicely furnished, everything you need, nice and quiet surroundings, the sea very nice and close. Friendly and helpful owners.

The small stove is not working correctly. Takes forever to even boil eggs, dont even talk about making mince and pasta. You need to open the shower water and let the water get hot and then you will be able to get hot water in the kitchen.
