The owner of the B&B was only there for 5 minutes on our second day. No personal touch. The swimming pool was not clean, the garden and surroundings were also not clean.
Great value for money.
Neat, clean and Benita and her team made it really pleasant to stay at their home. What is important to us is a clean, comfortable bed, a nice shower and comfortable pillows. Got it all. Breakfast every morning was a treat. It was very nice to also get to know the people of Pniel better! Friendly people!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were a group of four staying there for a wedding at Boschendal. It's location was very convenient for us in that regard. The one room, the Ghecko room, needs some TLC. However the bed was very comfortable with great linen. The weather wasn't great the night we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outside area and pool area. I did feel that our room was on the pricey side. Can't fault the staff though as they were great. It's just our room that needs some work to bring it back to what you would expect from a 4 star establishment.
Thank you for going the extra mile. We loved our stay and can highly recommend it. The views were spectacular.
You may find just as nice a place in just as nice a setting, but to get such kind and friendly service anywhere else in the world is yet to be matched. We have traversed the entire known world, from Russia to here, and have yet to find the equal of Lumley's Place service.
Friendly staff and this B&B was very close to our wedding venue. Breakfast was nice and generous.
It was fairly expensive for the area. The room was fine although a fan was required as it was extrememely hot. ALso the pool pump was noisy and continued thoughout the night. Food and service was very good.
