13 guests' feedbackLusthof has amazing views and a beautiful although long gravel road to reach. I drove easily with a smaller car, but think that if there has been heavy rain it might have been much harder. The cottage is old but transports you into a different place and the silence soothes your soul.
For a wonderful relaxing weekend in nature. The accommodation is fantastic, the hospitality you experience there is indescribable and always to be recommended.
Had a great stay!
Old world charm. Feels like escaping from the rush and being transported back in time. The view from the front door is picture perfect. Friendly hostess. However, the cottage is not for tall people, we had to stoop to enter rooms. Nice sherry as a welcome is a pleasant surprise. Take your own coffee with you for next morning. The bats in the house scared us a little.
It's an old farmstead that looked pretty clean upon arrival. The problem started at 21:00 when the water suddenly stopped flowing while I was standing under the shower full of soap. We tried to call the owner but no response or call back after two days. A bat fluttered around the house all night. We just drove at 06:00.
Cute little cottage. Good value for money. Perfect for an overnight rest. Friendly hosts who went out of their way to bring us some milk. A fresh coat of paint and new curtains would improve even more.
We enjoyed our overnight. The scenery is spectacular and the accommodation is authentic, farm-style yet very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

It is a very special destination in a peaceful farm setting. The cottage is comfortable for a family of 4. It has everything needed for a stay. Had a good time and slept well.
Even though this old house has many cracks and the doors don't lock perfectly, it is still a beautiful place. Would come again.

It is always a pleasure to stay over at this quaint cottage with it beautiful views and very friendly hosts.
The surroundings are beautiful and it was an experience to stay on a working farm. No coffee/tea or wood provided, which in my opinion is not very good value for money.
