The place was very well located and we had a very nice stay. Would be better if there was WiFi available to use.
Our stay was excellent. Mabalingwe offers just so much more and with Elephant Lodge so perfectly situated we are next to the shop and coffee shop with excellent takeaways. Elephant Lodge 267-7 ticked everything off.
The safe wasn't working and the drain of the toilet stinks. The kettle had white stuff inside, couldn't use it and it wasn't the kettle in the picture. But otherwise, it was good.
It was very hot but we had a great time relaxing and the aircon worked overtime. The location is great and very close to the pools, shop etc. We will definitely go again!

Arrived to find no toilet paper - essential after a long drive. When questioned the next morning, the cleaning lady said she had run out of toilet paper - yet she was able to provide two new rolls. The king-size bed was wide, but queen-size in length. I had specifically said I was over 2 m tall, and was assured that the bed would be king-size. Not a deal breaker, but irritating. Further, the reading lamp at the head of the bed was loose, and could not be moved away from my head when lying down. The DSTV bouquet was so limited that it was clearly the cheapest option, not in keeping with the standard of accommodation. While it was great to have the owner's telephone number for problems, it was also futile since there was no signal for the cell phone. Minor issues, but irritating.
Tranquility with all the animals walking around there. Facilities excellent. The stay was very pleasant. All the facilities were great. The staff is amazing. We relaxed and enjoyed the wildlife. The chalet is clean and beautiful. Sorry for the wasp nest by the porch. But the piggies entertained us incredibly.
Can drive around the area and see wildlife, swim, barbecue, forget about everything and just relax.
The misunderstanding about the accommodation was quite unpleasant. We lived in 267-8 at the time and they sorted it out quickly. I think Mabalingwe could put a lot more effort into the gardens, foliage and cleanliness at Elephant Lodge.
The water for showers and sinks was dirty on Sunday 4 September.
Would love to have cutlery and crockery sorted out.
We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and beautiful. Walking distance from entertainment area and shop.

Nice cozy place with everything you need. Nature and silence were just what we needed. Will come again for sure.
The unit is very nicely furnished and was 100% right for us. The porch outside was nice and comfortable and the lapa was perfect. Plekkie is very conveniently located near the shop and recreation area. Really worth it.

The elephants came to surprise us in the camp. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will visit again.
It would only be nice if provision could be made in the event of rain. One cannot then use the boma, and there is no oven in the kitchen to prepare meat. A built-in braai on the porch would be a plus.
Although the chalet was not ready when we arrived around 3am, the cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful. The toilet seat was loose and not all things were there as on the list, there were e.g. only two forks, no toilet paper. Little things, which didn't bother much. All and all we still enjoyed it tremendously.

Unit was very neat and centrally located. Fantastic sea view.
Peaceful place to catch your breath.
Bed linen and towels were not dirty but not very fresh either. No soap in unit, otherwise good. The La Ferna restaurant was not good at all. Staff not very friendly. Hambuger also not good with a hair in it. Lots of booze at various places and lots of people behaving quite badly and even had to hear comments from drunken men to my wife. Bobbins from the electric fence lay everywhere in the road with pieces of wire damaging tires.

Upon departure, the doors and windows of the units should also be properly closed and locked.For guests' convenience, a full inventory list of the items in the kitchen is provided and in the event, something is missing or broken, guests should immediately report it to the housekeeper or the management.
Guests should please bring their own swimming towels, cleaning supplies, wood, firefighters, and braai grid.
A private game drive vehicle is available at an additional cost.
