We had some complications with the booking, and the hosts resolved the matter with patience and integrity. We appreciate the hospitality.
Pearl Bay is magical, Magda is lovely and the place is special. Beautiful and very comfortable apartment.
We four adults found Magda's Place a pleasant, clean, modern and spacious apartment. Magda came to meet us in person and we enjoyed her company. Because the unit is only a few hundred meters from the beautiful beach, we were able to go for long walks along the sea. Yzerfontein has so many great places to eat and offers so much to a visitor that two days is actually too short to stay there. The well-equipped kitchen also made it possible for us to prepare nice snacks in between and thus cut down on entertainment costs.

We arrived quite a bit later than the allowed booking in time but were greeted with friendliness. The place is well equipped, particularly the kitchen with more than enough crockery, cutlery, etc., and even a well-sized air fryer. Plumbing throughout worked well, including the shower; hot water is almost instantaneous. Good quality bedding, sufficient towels, and even 2 adult gowns. Overall, it is a really comfortable and adequately equipped place.

Magda's Place is within walking distance of the sea and therefore very well located. The purpose of our getaway was to recharge and have a peaceful time. That's exactly what we got. Magda's Place is very well equipped and we never even experienced the effect of load shedding!
We had a wonderful stay, very well equipped.
Everything was very neat and in its place. Child friendly. The 3-year-old twins were spoiled by Magda by hiding Easter eggs in the garden. Thank you very much Magda. We appreciate your care. May things go well with you in the future. Oh and it was great to be able to use electricity 24 hours a day.
The Wi-Fi was intermittent and slow.
Magda's Place is an excellent holiday destination and we will certainly not book anywhere else if we go to Yzerfontein again. Hennie and Magda have created a fantastic place where you can relax and they go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The place is fully equipped with everything you need and more. We had a wonderful holiday and only wish we could have stayed longer.
I'm almost too scared to give a good review because we would love to visit Magda's Place again and don't want it to be fully booked, but the place is great. Clean, tidy and warm with a small sea view. We received a warm welcome from Magda and were immediately informed of the places to eat in the area. We will definitely be stopping by again soon.
The accommodation is nice and spacious, very nice location. Owner is very friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed the weekend there and had a great time relaxing

We were kindly received. The unit is spacious and was very tidy with all facilities and extras to make one feel comfortable and at home. The owner cares about her guests. We really enjoyed the time and can recommend the place with great confidence.
Magda's Place creates an open feeling. The open-plan kitchen and living area is nicely furnished for sitting together and visiting or lying down and reading. There are even board games in the cupboard above - ideal for quality family time! The apartment is not directly on the beach, but is only a 3 minute walk from the beach. Uncle Hennie helped us so nicely with our braai fire and aunt Magda with something for a burnt finger! We felt very safe! Thank you very much for a wonderful visit to Yzerfontein!
The owner needs to look at what is advertised again. This unit is by no means child friendly! If only we had known this upfront we could have chosen a suitable house. The owners live on the property and don't respect the privacy of the guests at all. You're being watched and the kids were not free to play in the garden. They were chased away when they got to close to the owners section of the yard ─ which was open. There is no guest loo as advertised.
The accommodation is comfortable, spacious, clean and safe. Everything needed is provided. The unit is excellently located.
We had a wonderful weekend. Was able to completely switch off and enjoy the great atmosphere.
