Location, hospitality and friendliness, everything 100%.
Amazing hiking routes and great on-site activities for the kids. Super friendly and caring staff and the most amazing view from our chalet!
Very nice, just a lot of rain.
We had a great stay, visited places, did canopy tours, tubing, rock jumping. It was really value for money to stay in the chalet with such beautiful views. Most of the time we went to eat at Pancake House which was really a big treat and many times spent evenings grilling under the wonderful forest sounds. We will definitely come again.
It was a very cold evening in the fog, electric blankets were happily in the bed. Could have had a bigger heater in the unit, there was only one on the wall which didn't help much.
Very pretty and scenic with a view of an amazing waterfall.
View and sound of waterfall is unforgettable. Beds sleep great. Very clean and tidy. Gasgeyser made showering a bit of a challenge. Go prepared - no kitchen. Braai area in campsite offered to us was a winner! Thank you.
Needs some maintenance. The showers also need to be cleaned more properly. The stay was very nice and the surroundings are fantastic.
First make sure before you book that there will not be campers during the time you want to book, who play loud music until the early hours of the morning, this is definitely disturbing, especially if you are escaping from the noise of the city.
Friendly comfortable accommodation with wonderful views and beautiful scenery.
Peaceful surroundings and a wonderful breakaway. The advertisement did however not state that the unit is not self-catering so that was a real big disappointment! They should state it clearly that there are no self-catering facilities in the cabin so visitors can come prepared. There was no hot water for the shower on a cold winter's night and no one was available at reception to assist us. That was also a great disappointment!
The place is also not on the Magoebas pass at all and this leads to confusion. Also no GPS information. Very weak. Get your admin right and it can work!
In the Magoebas berge. Very nice activities.
The unit is neat and comfortable. We were kindly received and slept very well. It was nice to wake up and see the fog on the mountains.
Very nice place to relax. Nature is a must. Will definitely go again.
Very nice stay and very good rest. Very neat.
The very neat and very beautiful. The view is beautiful. Very friendly people.
Just had to wait a little long for the keys that were wanted upon check-in, otherwise 100.
The guides on the Zipline are full of enthusiasm and funny sayings, very helpful and very focused on safety.
The whole place, inside and out, is beautiful! Nature is beautiful and it was good value for money, could rest and relax like never before. Nights were dark for good sleep. Will definitely go again.
We lived in the chalet. It was very nice and clean and cutely equipped. There are 2 waterfalls. We peeked into their activities too late and would love to go back to do so.
Awesome people, awesome chalet and surroundings.
My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and did both the canopy tour and the tubing down the river. What an amazing experience with friendly and professional staff. Honestly the best and most exhilarating experience of my life so far. Such a beautiful place to tick off some things from the bucket list.
Beautiful place with beautiful gardens that are well maintained. I really like the self-check-in system and the fireplace. Will stay longer next time.
Environment very nice, but I feel that if it is advertised that there is a coffee shop and restaurant, it should at least be more than just toasted sandwiches as you only get coffee and tea in the cottages with no kitchen.
Our technician was booked for 2 nights, he only stayed the one night. Still waiting on feedback for 1 night refund! The room was smelly, like mould. The water from the tap was dirty. The tea and milk sachets that were in the container had expiry date. No curtain in front of sliding door and door could not lock. The company vehicle was not safe, no gate, there is no access control.
Delicious! We will definitely come again! Quiet and very beautiful
The treetop-chalet is furnished tastefully, comfortably and is clean. The staff is super friendly. The setting is magnificent. A perfect place to stay for the adventurous type with a playground on your doorstep.
The zipline was wonderful and what made it even better, was the team who took us. They made it very special and are full of jokes although safety comes first. Will definitely go back.
Sleep peacefully with the sound of the waterfall.
A great place for a peaceful getaway.
Rooms stink. Rooms very hot in summer.
You got your own chalet with in between the trees and with a wonderful view looking into the valley. Definitely will make the trip again.
An amazing place with lots of activities. We did the tubing and the river, waterfalls, forests and mountains are just spectacular.
Our weekend visit produced much more than expected. The staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our cabin was comfortable and adequate. The zip-lining was an awesome experience, and we will definitely be back.
I had an amazing couple of days! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really nice and comfortable with spectacular views. I'll definitely return to do the gecko tubing. The canopy tour was so much fun!
Beautiful area with a lot to do for old and young. Friendly and helpful staff.
Breathtaking views, the sound of the water, sun berries and birds. It was awesome. I hiked the hiking trails and ziplined every day.
Will definitely visit again. Exceeded all expectations.
If you want to stay one night before your canopy tour, it is ideal. If you want to stay longer I would rather choose a self-catering unit where I can braai and so on. It is bed and breakfast with no cooking facilities. There is food available at the coffee shop between 8 and 5. Other restaurants are 10 km away in Haenertsburg.
Very nice stay, the location is great and central, but not part of the town. View is fantastic.
The wooden chalet is small, but still comfortable and has good beds. It feels like you are sleeping in a tree house with the sound of water in the back ground. Cell phone signal is a problem. Would recommend a small TV for the unit, especially if you don't want to drive around on dark roads at night. Furthermore, we had a nice stay and would love to use the wooden chalets again.
The unit was not ready by 3 o'clock in the afternoon. No kitchen. Booked 2 units but the children could be accommodated if there was proper communication by the lodge staff.
What happened is totally my fault. Adventure Canopy had no part in our nightmare. We were looking for accommodation for two nights to attend our grandson's hockey tournament at Stanford Lake College. We visited the website to find accommodation in Magoebaskloof. I don't know how, but got to Adventure Canopy. The story is too long to tell, but if our host had attended to our request regarding hot water, our stay would have been more bearable. For young adventurers it is an ideal place to be, but for older people it is not at all. As I said, it is not Magoebaskloof Adventure Canopy's fault, but it was me who made the wrong choice.
The chalet was most comfortable and well kitted out. It was lovely having a deck to sit out on among the trees with the sound of the river. The beds were most comfortable and my sister and I slept very well.
Chalets are very clean and tidy. The furniture was of good quality, even an electric blanket in the cold winter months. You hear the sound of the waterfalls and rapids in the chalet - how invigorating for the soul is that. Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped me with my hairdryer plug which was giving me trouble. Koffiewinkel's food pleasantly surprised me. Just be aware there is only a kettle with coffee/tea and milk as well as a small fridge in the chalet. The coffee shop on site closes at 5pm - they warn you though. It's no problem because there are many places to eat in the county - Haenertsburg is only 11 km from there.
The chalets are modern and located in nature. It feels like living in a tree house but it's as neat as a guest house. There are nice walking trails on site as well as the popular Canopy Tour which I would really recommend.
I would just like to see the reception a bit upgraded and tidier. The staff are friendly and considerate. Maintenance at the lookout steps also needs some attention. I'm sorry it's not a negative criticism, but because I'm in the industry myself I only notice silly things.
Chalets are neat, clean and peaceful in nature. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant's food is pleasant. Room service and cleaning are great.
A microwave will help a lot, because if you want to buy food at the restaurant to eat, it gets very cold.
Chalet very private and within earshot of waterfall and Letaba river. Our chalet did not have a gas bottle for geyser so I had to fetch the other chalet's bottle at night. There were also no staff on duty during the evening. Hiking trails are also particularly beautiful.
Wonderfully beautiful natural scenery and very centrally located. The chalet is very neat and the staff very friendly and the service excellent. I would suggest a microwave and private braai area, as you don't always feel like eating out when it's so cold and misty, in which case a nice hot drink can be enjoyed. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the time spent on the deck with the beautiful views of the mountains and the roar of the waterfall in the background.
The accommodation was neat and clean, the food was delicious (they themselves gave us breakfast earlier on request) and the surroundings breathtakingly beautiful! I will definitely go and relax there again.
It is one of the most romantic places that I have ever stayed at, the view from the log home is a dream and with the waterfall music in the background! The house was very neat and clean, the only suggestion that I will make is that they look at their hot water system, because there wasn't any hot water.
The chalet was spotlessly clean with quality bedding, very privately tucked away in the bush with beautiful views of the mountains. We could hear the river murmur. Heavenly.
Was great. Thank you LekkeSlaap, you make everything easy and convenient to book. Thank you for your excellent service in this regard.
Truly a special place, very neat and clean. It's breathtaking to see just trees and mountains around you.
Peaceful. Would love to return. The only thing that could present a problem is that the cafe closes at 5 and the chalets don't have any kitchen or equipment except fridge and kettle, which is a problem at dinner time. Luckily I knew this beforehand and were prepared to get something to eat somewhere each night, but I can see how this can be a problem to someone who is not prepared. Except for this Magoebaskloof Adventure Chalets gets a 10 our of 10.
I was really sad that I couldn't stay longer! The view and the sound of the waterfall made me feel at peace. Perfect place for an overnight stay, but also a ideal for quality time with someone. Please note, cellphone signal (Vodacom) is very weak and WiFi is only available at the coffee shop that closes at 17:00 on weekdays.
Will recommend it to anyone.
It was our 6 year wedding anniversary so the time passed very slowly and we enjoyed it there. Have fun. Breakfast was very nice and the service we received was good.
Incredibly beautiful surroundings and friendly service. Beautifully located, very spacious and a comfortable room.
We had such a nice stay, it is a beautiful place and well located. Will definitely recommend them.
Thank you!
The stay was very nice. We stayed 2 nights and the view from our room was beautiful. We also did the treetop tour and Marcus and Natty, our tour guides, were very professional and made us feel safe at all times. We were able to view the beautiful waterfalls and their presentation and information throughout was informative and fun. Would recommend it. They are just currently renovating the reception area and I was worried, but the room was lovely and clean and tidy.
There was no hot water. Staff friendly, but not knowledgeable. No complimentary soap. Also, it was advertised as breakfast included, but there was no breakfast. We were told it was self catering, but I don't call a kettle and a fridge 'self catering'! Very nice setting though.
Adventurous. We had so much fun. The food was great and the views unforgettable.
The treetop tours were the icing on the cake! The people were so friendly. The receptionist's attitude was not very friendly, but the rest of the staff were very pleasant.
