The room and facilities were good but the road was quite noisy during the afternoon. Fortunately quiet at night.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful characterful old town house in Ladismith. Our reception was warm and requests from our side were well handled. The suite is basic but meets the needs of an overnight visitor and is happily recommended. Secure parking is also available and the high street with its few restaurants is within walking distance. Overnight road trip with Waffles the corgi. Mai Visti is perfect. Just a small fridge in the room would make it unbeatable. Definitely recommend. Will stay there again.

Nice host, issue we faced was that there is no kitchen facilities to store foods (no fridge, no microwave). Place has a beautiful bathroom and is neat.

It's a very peaceful area and the fireplace inside made it nice and warm. If you need a break away from everything, Mai Visti is the ideal place for you. There a nice braai outside and a place for a bonfire. I recommend it.
My first time to Ladismith was a wonderful experience and staying over at Mai Visti made it all worth the visit. Lovely town and people. The guesthouse felt like home, well furnished with elegance. The shower is a little heaven (limited shower) due to water restrictions. Will do it again!
