We had an amazing stay and really enjoyed the weekend. This home is truly any barbecuer's dream and the house also has a nice cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the good books that were there to read.
Had a great time. House is well equipped with everything you need. Just make a note somewhere about indoor grilling.

Felt that the cleanliness of the house was not 100% correct. There was e.g. food in one of the sinks of previous guests. Bedding full of dog hair and some of the dishes were not washed thoroughly.
Generally we were happy with the place. Upon entering the smell of smoke from the firleplace was quite strong - we had to open all the windows to get rid of the smell. We used the internal fireplace once and regretted it because it filled the whole house with smoke to the point where where we felt nauseous. Again we had to open everything to get a draft through the house. The hot water in the bathrooms was not on. This was resolved quickly with a call to the agent - no major problem.
We had a great stay and can't really complain about anything. I also feel that for the price towels and a bag or two of wood could be included. The price is quite high for a family of three; but it might work out more affordably for a few friends sharing. The house is furnished very minimalistically; but had everything we needed. We will make a reservation again in the future.
As a family of five, with daughters ranging in age from teens to twenties, we appreciated the space, the convenience of having most of our home comforts, and a beautiful location. The area is clean and the people friendly and helpful. Despite the cold (it is winter after all), we enjoyed the views, the walks in the national park, the walks along the beach, and of course, finding ourselves at the lighthouse, and the southernmost point of Africa! What an overwhelming feeling it was.
Main 82 Agulhas location is good but unfortunately very noisy with traffic. Unit's bed linen did not smell clean and for the exorbitant amount they were able to provide towels and wood. Although the unit was "pet friendly" the owner had something to say about it. Owner also did not want to be accommodating in any way when we requested if we could check out a little later.
The small wall in front is good but lacks a gate at the entrance on the side. Friendly neighbor lent wooden boards to close the entrance so that the dog could stay inside.
Loved our stay and was lovely to walk into a place that was neat. The bit of sea view was a bonus!
We really enjoyed the weekend, it's just a very, very pity that the house was not clean. Bedding had marks on it and it makes you uneasy to sleep in it. Dishes in the kitchen were half washed, grater still dirty as well as tongs, etc. The sink in the kitchen's plugs were very dirty as were the taps in the bathrooms. I also feel that for the price one pays for the house towels as well as hand towels should be available to one.
Had a great time. Nice location except for my 3 year old who kept wanting to go to the road. But apart from that everything in order. I would just add a fence in the front.
Beautifully redone, but: No dishwasher as advertised. No 'freezing' as advertised. The braai places are very low and dangerous for children (and embers that may shoot). The living area faces the street; that's no problem, but it's completely open to the street - kids run to the road, so now you keep the sliding door closed and miss out on the 'feeling of being by the sea'. I reckon a fence on the border of the yard is a must have.
