Maison de L'amour was everything we expected, and the host was very attentive and friendly.
Beautiful place. Very private. Upon request, the owners offered my friends who were not staying the night a wonderful birthday breakfast. Will stay there again. We also visited their restaurant 1910 The Forge. Awesome place.

Nina was an absolute treat and the units proximity to all the great spots in Darling is brilliant.
The room and gardens are absolutely beautiful, as is the friendly Alaskan Malamute who greeted us at the door. It was a peaceful, serene stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We loved our stay at Maison de L'Amour. Our every need was catered for and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The apartment was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
The B&B is in a quiet street, but close to some of the places that are a must to visit. The rooms and garden are beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable. Our host Nina was welcoming and accommodating. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

One of the rooms did not have hot water and the toilet was leaking. We informed Maison de L'amour about it.
A very enjoyable stay. After our first night, our very generous hosts offered us an upgrade to a lovely cottage.
The host, Nina and Derick, also have a really nice restaurant just down the road.
Their restaurant is exceptional. It feels like you are back in time. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. The food is excellent and it is very good value for money.
Enjoyed our dinner and complementary breakfast at 1910 Old Forge restaurant, also owned by Nina, another uniquely, charming venue.
When visiting Darling this is a must stay, even better is their restaurant located close by.

Nina, the hostess, is incredibly hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our room was beautiful and the atmosphere so relaxed! The relaxation area outside by the pool is comfortable and cozy. She also has her own restaurant, so the breakfast was out of the books! Will visit again for sure!
Beautiful interior, with tasty breakfast in the garden, depending on the weather. Nina really spoiled us during the two nights. We slept wonderfully warm in the beautiful suite with French interior. And a shower with boiling water is always a big plus for me. We highly recommend this guest house, and would love to go again.

It was a lovely evening, the place was wonderful and the accommodation perfect.
The toilet ran all night. The TV didn't work. The hairdryer didn't work. It smelt a little damp. Besides these things, it was lovely.
A place for bags will help.
A bit cluttered, but that unfortunately is just not our style but was still very beautiful. I personally would have liked a door on the bathroom. The restaurant they own called The Forge serves creative a wonderful food, was equal to fine dinning 10 stars should be awarded to the chefs. Best oysters I have had in years.
A very accommodating and friendly host that went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully decorated. Her restaurant and food are equally top notch. Nina, thank you for the lovely weekend.
We had a great stay, except for the very noisy bed. Breakfast was delicious and the animals were very friendly! Will book the cottage next time!
My fiance and I absolutely loved our stay at Maison de L'amour. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a mini bar fridge to store our drinks and water. Otherwise, it was an overall delight to spend our anniversary here. The hospitality from the owner and her chef was amazing. Definitely wil recommend.

Classic French decor with a touch of opulence. A lovely B&B in a quiet street. Nina and Smiley were wonderful hosts. The cherry on top was a fabulous breakfast served under the bougainvillea.
Just a pity that there was no air-con. Saturday was very hot.
The decor and ambiance is very sweet. Host is very friendly, you move straight into this bygone era where one still had time to contemplate - fits in with the spirit of Darling. And we walked everywhere which was special.
The guest house is picture perfect, and full of home inspiration. Something interesting around every corner. Nina is the perfect hostess, and her special yogurt will make your toes curl with pleasure. There is a lot to do in the area (Nina will be happy to tell you), so just book for 2 or 3 nights. It's good for the soul ... even if the 2-course breakfast is slightly less good for the "love handles".
The hostess is completely focused on customer service. She did her homework before making work of this guesthouse. The rooms have flair. The breakfast is top quality and each day is a surprise. This is the best guesthouse we've visited in the past 5 years and we travel a lot. First class service. First class flair. First class impression. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely weekend getaway in the countryside. The "garden cottage" was very romantic and a lot of attention was paid to detail. Nina is very helpful and will give you advice on where to go and what to do in Darling. She will even find a place for you at very short notice in the pizza place that is only open on a Friday night and is always packed! The breakfast was also delicious.
Wij hebben in het tuinhuisje geslapen wat echt heel erg mooi en bijzonder is ingericht. Op Zondagavond zijn er weinig restaurants open maar onze gastvrouw heeft toen een supergrote en goedgevulde kaas en fruitplank voor ons klaargemaakt. Echt top!
