2 guests' feedbackAmazing place, friendly staff, really enjoyed my stay in the bushes.
Sondela is a very nice resort for the whole family, big and small with lots of activities for everyone. The house Makhato Lodge 105 has a very nice layout, but accidents like below were disappointing. There was a sewage drain on both sides of the house that started to back up on day two and overflowed leaving a bad smell. One of the bathrooms' sink drain stank so much that the children could not use it. The house had no cheese grater. The house had no stove. The oven did not work. The kitchen bin was broken. The broom handle was so broken that it could not be used at all. The master bedroom's roof leaks so that when it rained the first night, we had to sweep the water in the room with a broom and dry it with towels afterwards. The bushes, weeds and grass between the paving around the house and pebbles towards the tree area have already grown a single height in places. They were sprayed with poison by workers during the week. I assume it just hasn't been done in a while. One of the rooms ceiling fans did not work. I assume that the owners themselves have not been there for a long time.
