Lodge 12 can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room. Each bedroom contains a king-size bed, air-conditioning, and a ceiling fan. Both rooms open to a central en-suite bathroom with a large family bath, a shower, twin washbasins, and their own private toilet.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and is fitted with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining area contains an 8-seater dining table and chairs. The air-conditioned living area offers comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels.
The lodge has a thatched lapa with a built-in braai, prep sink, a dining table and seating, and an attached bathroom. There is also an outside boma with a fire pit. Covered carport parking is provided for 2 vehicles.
Sondela offers an on-site restaurant and bar, a farmyard coffee shop, a general dealer for basic necessities, communal swimming pools, a wildlife centre, and the on-site Iketla Wellness and Spa. 1 guests' feedbackMakhato 12 is a lovely house that is very well furnished. We got a lot of rain and therefore really enjoyed the lapa. It was also nice and cold and the fireplace in the house was lovely. The only complaint we have is that the grill in the lapa does not fit in the braai.
