Makhato Lodge 51 offers comfortable self-catering accommodation located in the Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela Bela. The Sondela Nature Reserve in the Limpopo province is a private game reserve just 150 km from Johannesburg. Here, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the Bushveld, encounters with zebra, kudu, impala, and giraffe, or a spot of bird watching.

This air-conditioned property can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 separate thatched units, each with 1 en-suite bedroom. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished with queen-size beds. Two of the bathrooms are fitted with both a bath and a shower, while the remaining bathroom has just a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. All rooms have glass doors overlooking the beauty of the Bushveld.

The main unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer. The lounge and dining area has comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax and also boasts a fireplace. For guests' entertainment, a TV with DStv channels is available.

Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious covered patio, lapa, bar, outdoor seating, and built-in braai. There is also a boma for evenings under the stars with seating, as well as a heated splash pool with sun loungers safely fenced.
