Fantastic place, very clean and beautiful view of beach. Can just sit on the porch for days. Owner was very helpful and friendly!
Perfect location, clean and very comfortable.
Friendly and helpful host. Children enjoyed the cute turtles in the garden that move. Apartment was clean, had everything we needed and more in excellent condition. The playground across the street played a role in how well we could rest and barbecue while keeping an eye on the kids. Generator was switched on with loadshedding in the evenings which was great!
We were met by Hennie (The owner) on arrival. We instantly felt welcome. The flat was beautifully decorated and lots of little things (fresh roses in a vase, chocolates and tissues on the beds) made us feel super special. Very well furnished with all the basic essentials provided (even the charcoal). Stunning and convenient kitchen appliances and very comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the Albatros beach. Hennie was wonderful and even organised a courier to send us items that my son forgot behind. Best experience we ever had in Jeffrey's Bay without a doubt.

The location is unbeatable and the unit is spacious and particularly well equipped with quality fittings. It was extremely comfortable and pleasant - excellent attention to detail. We also appreciated the good quality linen and comfortable beds. Our host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely not consider anywhere else to stay in Jeffreys Bay and hope to visit again soon. Thank you very much for a stay that exceeded even our expectations.
Makisaki is perfectly located and very tidy with everything you need. On the beach in the "quieter" part of J-bay. Parking outside is something unusual for us but vehicle was ok. Also Hennie is very helpful and a great host. Thanks, will come again for sure.
During the discussion on the website, there was no indication that Makisaki was divided into different rooms. The photos look beautiful with the most beautiful sea views. We were looking forward to being able to sit on the stoep, look at the sea with a quiet piece of meat on the braai. When we arrived, we were shown to a room - no view, no porch, no braai. Self-catering facilities were a microwave. I was not impressed with this at all. It was really a waste of money. We could have found a better place to stay for the money we paid to stay in the "broom closet". We were there for 3 nights - no clean towels and not even a broom to sweep the sea sand out of the room.
Our stay at MakiSaki was excellent! The owner went out of his way to help us with anything. Seafront position is unbeatable and unit was spacious and clean. Can definitely recommend.
I had a fabulous stay and would definitely go back with my family.
It was the biggest disappointment ever! We packed up 1/2 of our vacation. There is no privacy and the owner's family is watching us all the time. We specifically chose sea view accommodation at great cost to see the sea but had to keep our curtains closed all the time. Every time he saw us the owner made a sarcastic comment about our comings and goings and doings which proved we had no privacy.
The accommodation as well as the location of this unit make it indescribably nice to be at home there. The unit has a sea view - from the master bedroom, second bedroom and living room. There are 2 beautiful, comfortable bathrooms. A modern unit with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The location is absolutely great, right by the beach and nice and close to the SPAR etc. There is a set of stairs to climb but rather see it as a way to shed the fat rolls. All that was negative was the parking, vehicles are parked off the street but there is no fence or canopies.
The owners are very friendly, the unit was incredibly clean and comfortable. In terms of safety, excellent. I will go there again and again. Thank you very much again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. Everything was super clean and tidy. I will stay there again in the future. Unfortunately our travel plans were such that we could only spend one night there.
The apartments are very nice and tidy with beautiful views of the sea. I would definitely like to stay there again and visit a little longer.
The owners are very hospitable and friendly - we really enjoyed our stay there. The unit is clean, tidy and has all the "bare essentials" that one would expect from such a unit. It is perfectly located next to the sea where you can go for a lovely walk on the long beach. They are also equipped with a generator, so even if there are power cuts, you can enjoy a nice hot shower. We will definitely stay there again!

The people were friendly and gave us only the best, we couldn't have asked for better. Als was at our disposal, there was no shortage of anything in the house. It felt like I was in my own home because of everything there was that we could have used. I think we have discovered a new place that we will go to every vacation. It's more than perfect!
The one bedroom is good for a one night stop, but definitely not self-catering flat. It should be advertised as a not-serviced room.
The owners were hospitable and helpful. We were completely private and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was very pleasant, but parking was a problem.
