Absolutely idyllic location. Well appointed with all necessary requirements. Living area / kitchen is a bit cramped for 5 people. The contact person is always available and ready to help.
We had a very nice stay. There are a few things in the cottage that need maintenance or don't work, but the view made up for it. The WiFi is very slow or unavailable.
Makulu Manzi is a nice holiday home for a large family of 6. Enough sleeping space and everything you need in the house. Would be happy if there could be a tumble dryer.

The place to stay is excellent and very tidy with a great location by the sea and wonderful views. Everything you need is available in the house. The area is very neat, clean and peaceful for a relaxing holiday or break. The hostess is very friendly and helpful and arrangements are excellently communicated before your arrival. Will definitely visit the place again and recommend to anyone.

Wow what a beautiful place! The cottage has everything and more than you expect with the most incredible views! Beautiful beaches to both sides. Friendly people and hordes of dogs in the area. John received us kindly and made us feel at home. We will definitely go again!
Makulu Manzi truly has the best location with a sea view from all the rooms. It is wonderful to fall asleep every night with the roar of the sea in your ears. Every day the dolphins came by to say hello. I highly recommend Makulu Manzi for those who want to be peaceful by the sea.
Makulu Manzi is located opposite the sea! We have experienced almost all the seasons - rain, wind and sunny days! The highlight was the dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of our unit. Lovely, peaceful getaway. I would recommend it anytime.
A scenic place, lovely walks and beach close by. We enjoyed a restful time. Close enough to East London for any needs. The accommodation is semi-detached which may be problematic for a family with young boisterous children. There is also a block of flats very close by on the perimeter.
Have a good time and relax. The only negative that was really bad for me is that there was no roof or garage for my car, it had to stand in the sun for the whole 8 days, that's also what will make me not stay at Makulu Manzi again. The children would also like to be a little closer to the swimming beach, but the nets and buckets we bought for them kept them busy among the rocks where they could catch small stone fish.
The place sits on the sea with the most breathtaking view. There is enough of everything in the house that you can think of. It's very clean and beautiful. Had a wonderful stay, thank you aunt Marelyn!
Makulu Manzi is a gem on the beach. It is a fully equipped house. Comfortable sofas, all necessary accessories. The 180 degree view over the Wildekus is picture perfect. We saw dolphins and whales from both porches. I recommend Makulu Manzi to anyone who needs rest for his soul.

Accommodation layout and offering is real value for money. Spectacular views of the ocean crashing against the rocks. A mere 400 m walk to a secluded beach.

Lovely - will visit again. The ocean roar was great! DSTV didn't work but that wasn't a major issue for us.
