Makulu Strand House is a double storey house that can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children and comprises 3 tastefully furnished bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The main bedroom is situated upstairs and boasts access to the balcony with sea views. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Downstairs is the second and third bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed and sharing the use of a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. There’s a separate guest toilet. All linen and towels are provided.
The modernly designed open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. In addition, there’s a dishwasher for guests’ convenience. There’s also a breakfast island with stools. The kitchen expands to the living room furnished with comfortable couches, which can be used as sleeper couches to accommodate 2 children.
Upstairs, there’s a lovely built-in indoor braai area furnished with comfy seating space, perfect for those cold nights. It features a lovely dining table and expands to the balcony with extra seating and beautiful views.

It was lovely to break away for a bit and go to a place that was exactly like the advertisement.
We had a nice time in the house during a wet stormy weekend. Even when the roads to Struisbaai were closed due to the stormy rain, we were able to arrange for us to stay longer in the house. We really appreciated Frieda's service and help. I would definitely recommend this place!
Decided to book a girls few days away. Never been to Struisbaai and didn't know what to expect. All I can say is Struisbaai is a piece of heaven and the accommodation was the cherry on top. Will definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family. Highly recommended.
Our stay was enjoyable and peaceful. Safety was 100% and the location was perfect. Neighbours were very friendly.
We were a family of 5 who stayed for a week in the nice house on 2 levels. The braai room and master bedroom are upstairs, and the kitchen and other 2 bedrooms downstairs. We really enjoyed the beautiful sea view from the spacious master bedroom, braai room and balcony. Safe, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Good, fast WiFi and plenty of room for the kids to play inside when the weather isn't so nice. The dishwasher and washing machine were a luxury. Just remember your own grill and maybe steak knives. Can really recommend the house.
