31 guests' feedbackThis is a light and spacious unit situated in the back garden of a larger house. There is a secure garden space and pets can enjoy the outside with no worry to their owners. The bedrooms have plenty of space and one even opens onto the patio. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a dishwasher and washing machine too. The only niggle is that a limited amount of electricity units is loaded. When that is used up, the guest must buy more. That being said, we were warned that the geyser runs very hot and uses plenty of units, and that we should switch it off when not needed. It is strange that the owner does not adjust the temperature of the geyser so that the guests are not inconvenienced.
Malva Manor is a wonderful gem. It has the most stunning furniture, old and new. Lovely utensils. There is really nothing short. Our plans changed and we stayed 2 extra days. It was no problem for the host to accommodate us. The electricity was a bit strange for us. We are not used to buying electricity at home. It was a bit stressful not knowing how much is enough. We will definitely be back.

Stayed on holiday in Dana Bay for the first time. Really close to Mossel Bay and Hartenbos and a bit away from the busy holiday destinations. Beautiful place and incredibly friendly service! Thanks Jan!
It was an overnight destination and it fit the bill.
We had to buy our own power. It was not mentioned in the conditions in any way. Couldn't stream DSTV. Smart TV is too old. Would highly recommend wardrobes in the bedrooms as the wardrobes are very small and full of bedding. We were there for 8 days and would have liked to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase.
Host was not ready for us at 2pm checkin. many cleaniness issuess and once raised, it was mishandled and lead to a point of the Owner cancelled our second night staying and wanting to refund us, and requesting lekkerslaap to find us another place to stay. eventually at 8pm on the first night and after having no where else to go, we were allowed to stay for the full during that i booked for and paid for. i am embrassed to having to tell the guests that accompanined me on this stay that we were kick out and then tell them we staying and then dealing with some cleanliness issues. Dissapointing to know that if you raise issues then you are at risk of being kicked out!!! i have voicenotes, pictures, videos and emails to support the above.

The house has everything you need and is a great, safe, and comfortable place for me to stay over as a female traveling by myself with my two dogs. The host is very friendly, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, which is great during loadshedding. I hope to be able to stay a bit longer next time.

This was the perfect overnight stay for myself travelling with my two dogs. The cottage has everything you need, including Wi-Fi, DSTV, safe parking, a luxurious bathroom and the most comfortable bed. My dogs enjoyed being able to run around in the spacious fully fenced yard. There were no other dogs on the property and the very friendly and helpful host was right next door in case I needed anything. I definitely recommend this place and will stay here again on my travels.

The hostess is very friendly and explains everything well. The photos reflect the accommodation 100%. Perfect for an overnight stay. For longer stays, a TV and WiFi will be preferred.
Host communicates effectively and quickly. The accommodation is new, lovely, and secure. There's grass for kids who want to be outside a little. Amenities and stores are close and within walking distance. Big and beautiful kitchen (many appliances and gas stove) and bathroom. Loved our stay. I would 100% recommend it.
Did not include TV as well as extra blankets for guests.
