This place exceeded our expectations. It was much bigger than in the photos, and the views were great. So quiet and peaceful. The units have everything you need, and the heated floors in the bathroom were a big bonus! Truly a stunning place.
Very spacious guest house unit with all facilities available. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering. Very nice atmosphere reminiscent of Mamma Mia. Sufficient for a longer stay with everything needed.

We enjoyed our stay @ Mama Mia @ Charlotte House very much. Colleen was an excellent host! The adjacent nature reserve and early morning hike down to Skulpiesbaai was an unexpected bonus.

Mama Mia is very well located near the hiking trails between the fynbos and has a beautiful sea view. The place is well furnished and the living area is spacious and super neat. The owners are warm, but also allow the visitors their privacy. I will go back again and again if I can.

What a stunning ocean view! Our room was huge and included an outdoor balcony and well-equipped little kitchen. We really enjoyed the full English breakfast up on the terrace and were impressed that all of the Covid protocols were in place. A big thank you to Colleen and the team for making our stay so special. The guest house borders the nature reserve and we enjoyed a 10km hike along the pristine coastline! Stilbaai is breathtaking!

We picked this spot for our wedding night, came in super late and even at this ridiculous time, we could arrange a key and enjoy your stay. Beautiful setting and layout of the room we stayed in. We stayed at Charlotte House for 3 nights. We had one of the rooms overlooking the nature reserve. It was beautiful and peaceful and we ourselves saw a ibex one afternoon. We had a barbecue the first night and we had everything we needed. Wood was provided which only made it even easier. We booked one of the mornings for breakfast which was delicious and of course the view of the sea also made it even more special. They put a lot of effort into making breakfast for our 5 year old twins which even they enjoyed. Although it was very cold at the time we were there, the electric blanket and the extra blankets helped a lot. The only criticism I could give is that the shower is not necessarily suitable for small children, because the hot water took a while to warm up and the water pressure was only low (which is understandable with water shortages and savings). I would definitely go again and would love to try one of the sea view rooms just because they are beautiful.
With our arrival we were disappointed to find out that we got the back room with the worst view and braai area. You just see the neighbour's wall. The building material is directly next to the partition. The drawer with the cutlery was so dirty. My family and I didn't feel welcome at all.
The bathroom and room are very large, there is only a shower in it which makes it difficult to bathe your small children. It is close to everything you want to be, but still very private.
Mark and Kirsty were warm hosts and very helpful. Charlotte House is beautiful. A pity that our stay was to short and the weather did not play along.

The place has four rooms - as the photos show, two at the front with nice views. Then two 'studio apartments' which I assumed were upstairs with views, but two were at the back. One has the beautiful views of the reserve and a nice braai area (as in the photos) and the other a sloppy braai area and faces the neighbours' brick wall. We then got the last one. I had to ask to move the next day (not a nice thing to do). The first room had a thin duvet, uncomfortable pillows, no soap, no electric blanket (very cold cement floors), no hair dryer, etc. It left a bad taste in my mouth that for some reason we got the worst room while the others were empty. The rooms cost the same.
Very peaceful. We had a great visit to Stillbaai at Charlotte House. The rooms are spacious and well looked after.
