My stay was fine. Please check the basin hot water tap. It is splashing water all over the place when opened. This makes unnecessary mess and needs cleaning immediately.

Just a friendly tip to the hostess. light please the guests that there is no water if it is load shedding. We didn't know and didn't have water to brush our teeth when it was needed. If one knows, then one plans for it.
We arrived a little late, but were still warmly received. The manager immediately sorted out a problem in the room. Very neat and clean.
This was our third time staying here. Always clean, tidy and practical facilities. Moms Overnight will just have to seriously consider purchasing new mattresses for the beds.

We were very satisfied with the safety of the accommodation. The restaurant at the gas station has a very nice breakfast. Note that the restaurant closes at 17:00 and the only other places to eat are in Vryburg itself.

Shower only had cold or only hot water. Bedside lamp did not have a bulb in it. Toilet lid was cracked. Furthermore, we had a very, very good night there.
DStv is not working. Power plug, only one works. Toilet keeps leaking. No soap.

Mams was an unexpected gem in the Vryburg area. Clean linen, hospitality and a comfortable room did this exhausted traveler well.
The customer service is not good. The lady who was supposed to help us wanted to turn us away because she was eating dinner in the Spur. For some reason she was not aware that we had already paid a deposit.

The accommodation is suitable for overnight stays. Neat and quite comfortable.
Receptionist deurmakaar. No record of our bookings. Put in R 650.00 per night and not R 500.00. Cold water not strong enough to cool hot water. Toilet flush handle broken had to open up top to manual flush.
No shower in double bed room. Just a bath. Power and water problems. Lizelle who took over was very friendly and helpful and tried her best to make things more pleasant. We were offered to move to another room with 2 single beds for a price which does have a shower which we did not accept because we do not want to move beds around to be able to sleep together as a married elderly couple. Restaurant was also already closed @ 19:00 and we had to settle for a cold pie and half a cup of lukewarm coffee from the service station shop.

Mams Overnight is a good place to sleep between Upington and Pretoria. It's just outside of Vryburg, but well located close to the T-junction and petrol station and shop. The room is small, but has everything you need to just sleep over. Great shower and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking is safe, it's just outside the room behind a gate. Just not undercover parking. I would suggest undercover parking.

We booked two rooms. One's air conditioning unit worked fantastically, but the other's was not good. They can take a look at the mattresses. Some of the beds need new ones. Overall not a bad experience.

We just wanted to book an overnight stay in Vryburg - and Mams Overnight looked good. But you get what you pay for. The furniture and rooms are not luxurious at all. But most importantly, be aware that Mams Overnight is against the N14, so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay overnight, Mams is not for you.
