Mandoryn Nege is a self-catering holiday home in Marina at Port Owen. At this upmarket property, you experience the beauty and tranquility of the West Coat where one can relax with the setting sun over the marina and wake up to breathtaking sunrises over the canal to start another day of fun.

The unit has amazing waterfront views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms on the 1st floor. There is an entertainment area that consists of an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with an indoor braai. For those who want to braai outside, there is a braai on the stoep. The folding doors that are facing the canal, open completely and it creates the feeling of being outdoors whilst actually still sitting in the entertainment area. There is a laundry, with a gas stove, dishwasher, tumble dryer, ironing facilities, and outside washing line. The house is equipped with solar and guests won't be affected by loadshedding.

The West Coast is well-known for its excellent boating, skiing, canoeing and paddling opportunities. Port Owen is one of the most visited birding sites in the world. The town consists of a few good restaurants, and other small towns in the area that can be visited are Paternoster, St Helena Bay, and Tieties Bay.

The West Coast is also well-known for its variety of water sports like snorkelling, diving, boating, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, yachting, wind and kite surfing and deep sea fishing. Port Owen and Admiral Island is famous among yachtsmen all over the world. There are few places where you can step from your house onto a yacht and within minutes you could be sailing on the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean, or instead go inward bound. The bay into which the Berg River runs, is well known as to be one of the calmest and safest areas on the stormy Atlantic Coast on the southern part of Africa. This river then gives entrance to the canal with the house sitting on the banks of the canal. The jetty gives access from the house directly onto the water, where a boat can be safely moored, is another attraction for boat lovers.

This lower area of the Berg River has become known as the “hotspot” for rare waders. There are few if any other areas in the entire country where so many rare water birds can be seen. Recent rarities include the Little Blue Heron, Hudsonian Godwit, Black Harrier and Lesser Yellowlegs.
