Was given a lovely room with a super comfortable bed. Only stayed a night but I would happily use them again if I make my way past there again.
We stayed in Mango 1. Safe area. On our arrival, we were received by the friendly host. The place was neat and clean. The only recommendation is to consider removing the smallest step to the bedroom. My husband missed that step because it was so low, forgot there was one, and fell flat on his face. Ample safe parking space for cars and trailers. I will definitely recommend @ Mango's. We will be staying there again on our next visit.

We were received hospitably and the host came to unlock and make sure we were satisfied. We have stayed there before in a smaller unit and the improvements are tasteful and adequate. Much care has been taken to ensure the proper satisfaction of the guests.
The room was immaculate and the bed incredibly comfortable! The complimentary rusks were so divine, and the grounds of the guest house were well manicured and just gorgeous! We will definitely repeat a stopover on our cross-country drives and hope to even come for a long weekend.

We requested a mattress for our baby, which was confirmed by Irma, but she forgot about it. We had to pay extra for this, which she did not reimburse, nor for an extra adult. We are grateful for that. Unfortunately, we then had to make the bed on the ground for our baby with blankets that we found in the closet, after she said he should just sleep on the bed with us. We had to get up at 2 in the morning and drive because he couldn't sleep peacefully.

@ Mango's is a cozy place to stay overnight with lovely cozy winter sheets, electric blankets and perfect pillows, blankets and duvets.
We were communicated with all the info we need and had a friendly welcome to our stunning guest house. that was well decorated, very clean, had all the amenities one needs. Safe parking off the street. The most comfortable bed I have slept in. Very close the Karoo national park where we did a day trip with their multiple self-drive options. Couldnt have asked for a better stop and only 5 hours from Cape Town.

Mango's is a value-for-money guest house with all amenities. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again. We stayed in Mango's 2 and were very impressed with the tasteful, well equipped unit and great service.
The one and only thing I can say that is negative is that the morning of our departure (we wanted to leave at 06:00), we did not have enough hot water for 2 showers — by the time my husband got in, the water was cold. That was not pleasant. Otherwise, everything else was great.

It's a cozy little place with a cute outdoor area. Ideal for a quick night's sleep on the way to bigger cities. The linen was clean and tidy. Some work is needed, e.g. the bathroom (shower head and toilet seat) could be redone and the pots in the kitchen were unfortunately so burnt that we couldn't cook.

I specifically requested a "firm" bed. Previous reviews warned of a hollow mattress, but we were assured the bed was "brand new". This is the worst quality mattress ever! Old technology innerspring that feels like you're sleeping in a dinghy. I consider a Genesis or Cloud9 a proper bed. People, pay attention to the reviews! However, the cherry on the cake was no hot water for shower etc. which resulted in a cold shower, after 9 hours on the road! Accommodation from hell? 10 to 1.

This was the most luxurious stay-over experience I have had in Beaufort West. Before arrival, we received a location pin, contact info and the load-shedding schedule which was very helpful. We were welcomed by the friendly Herman and the two resident dogs who were super sweet and respectful of the guests. The room was lovely with a king-size bed so comfortable that it made me want to stay longer to catch up on some sleep. The spaciousness made it easy to move around and the veranda is a lovely place to sit with a cup of tea. The tea/coffee amenities were great with some self-catering touches such as a toaster, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is luxurious with a deep bath and a double vanity which gives you bathroom envy. This is all set in a peaceful part of town not far from the main road. There is safe off-street parking for your car (and trailer if you have one). Would highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be my first choice going forward.

@ Mango's was a great place for our layover between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Friendly welcome from the hosts. Space was spacious and clean. Little touches such as providing tea, coffee, rusks and even milk made the stay so much more easier. Cold bottled water was most welcome in the searing heat. Beds were comfortable and entire unit spotless. Will definitely recommend.

We experienced load shedding during our stay @ Mango's, but luckily @ Mango's made provision for that and accommodated us with battery lights. They also informed us in advance about the load shedding schedules. It is the perfect overnight stay and even for a holiday.

We helped our children move to the Cape. From the first call to our reception, we were warmly received. Our host was waiting for us when we checked in late and received us kindly. The rooms were spacious, warm and very comfortable. The trailer was also safely parked in the yard. If we ever drive through Beaufort West again, we will definitely stay at @Mango's again.

@Mango's is ideal for people who are on their way from the North to the Cape to sleep over. It is beautiful in the middle of the road from Bloemfontein to the Cape and one can spend the night peacefully in the guest house to take on the long road again the next day.

Mango 5 is a beautiful unit that perfectly combines old and new and is equipped with everything you need. We were driving a large trailer and there was plenty of room to park and turn around. The room is very neat and nicely furnished, and clean. There was a.o. tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, as well as a small carton of milk and a bottle of water in the fridge. My car was conveniently parked nearby and safe through the night.

Ons was nie voorbereid op die absolute oase wat ons begroet het toe ons die kamerdeur oopmaak nie - die werklikheid oortref enige foto. Die kamer waarin ons oornag het, was ruim met 'n pragtige kombuishoekie en groot badkamer. Die dekor was smaakvol en luuks - ons het baie bederf gevoel. Ons het in beurtkrag arriveer en ook hier was voorsiening getref met meer as genoeg alternatiewe. Ons oornag ondervinding by @Mango's was 'n belewenis en absolute waarde vir geld. @Mango's is definitief hoogs aan te beveel.

The rooms we stayed in are spacious and very tidy. There are warm blankets on the beds and the blankets are of good quality. Although there was loadshedding, they really made an effort to at least put some light in the house. Same as above.

As we are only 2 people we opted for the smallest room. We stayed in Mangos 3 on our way down. I must be honest and say it was neat and tidy but it was extremely small. We had a lot of luggage and we battled to move around with that. On our way back we got a bigger room it was still for only 2 peopl. We paid a bit more, but it was definitely worth spending more. Mangos 3 is really tiny, but if you don't have a lot of luggage you will be fine. You cannot see from the pics how small the unit really is. However, having said all that, we enjoyed both nights with Mangos. Will definitely stay there again. Just not in the small unit.

We enjoyed staying 2 nights at Mango's. The accommodation was top notch and all facilities excellent as advertised. Mango's is located in a quiet area and the shops in town are close enough to be easily reached by car. There is enough space for vehicles (we had a trailer too) and can park under a shade net behind security gates. Mangos can definitely be recommended for a peaceful and pleasant overnight stay and also for longer periods than one night. We could have easily stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed it.
Did have Eskom load shedding from 20:00 to 22:00 and therefore could not watch DStv. Chose to enjoy dinner at Spur.

We had a great stay at Mango's. We were just concerned that some of the guests didn't close the car gate behind them when they drove, so just reminding guests that the gate doesn't close by itself might help. But otherwise it was a very neat, comfortable visit and good value for money.

I was very kindly received at Mango's and will use the guest house again in the future as it was very neat and clean. All the amenities were in room no 4 and is located in a quiet area. The price is also very fair and affordable.

Last time we stayed across the road in Mangos 1 and the facilities and unit were much better and more comfortable with space and small kitchen than this room. Was a bit disappointed as there wasn't even a sink for your dishes and unit is really small and you also hear every movement of the other guests.

We have room no. 2 and it was a spacious studio type unit, very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Linen was of good quality, air conditioner was welcome in the karoo heat. The hostess Irma was very friendly and hospitable. Room no 3 was smaller and also well equipped for a single older person traveling with us.
Irma asked us in advance to let us know if we were close and when we arrived she was already waiting for us outside, she immediately took us to our overnight place and left us to relax. It was fantastic for me that we didn't have to get out or wait unnecessarily, she is incredibly thoughtful and friendly and I would recommend them anytime. The places are well equipped and have a tranquility that one needs when you have driven far and are tired and just want to relax. I will definitely use them every time we are there.

One of the reviews I read before we booked said it was too good to be true. And so true! My mother and I booked a two bedroom unit as we wanted some space. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found at Mango's. The unit was then so spacious that we decided to just sleep in one room instead. Everything is well furnished and spotlessly clean! Without a doubt we will stay at Mango's again if we pass through Beaufort West again.

We were warmly received by Irma. Everything was tasteful and neat. Was spoiled with bottles of water, coffee, tea, fresh milk and biscuits in the room even though it is a self-catering unit. However, there is only air conditioning in the bedroom and because it was terribly hot the fans in the living area were not sufficient. The place would be perfection if there was air conditioning in the living area as well. We will definitely recommend @Mangoes to all our family and friends.

Reason for being sent away: They had a better offer that wasn't confirmed yet, but that they couldn't refuse. Our one night stay was therefore cancelled and the payment was refunded upon arrival. Very unprofessional and not acceptable.

Small things that can be bettered, such as the valve of the toilet not closing properly and it leaks constantly. Lounge area has no window to open, just a sliding door without a security gate, so you don't want to leave it open at night.
The rooms were neat, everything you want from a self-catering place is there! The beds offer a good night's sleep and the hostess and her husband immediately made us feel at home. I can recommend it wholeheartedly!

@Mango's was the perfect sleepover after a long day on the road. It is conveniently close to the N1, but not far away enough that the trucks aren't heard at all. This little place was clean and neat with everything that we needed for the night's stay.

Everything you need away from home. Your home away from home. I travelled far for business and will go there again any time. We were late on arrival. We let them know that we were only going to be there after 21:00 and they still received us with open arms. Now that's service!
