5 guests' feedbackIt was fine but FAR TOO MUCH interaction needed before I arrived. Why do I have to talk to two different individuals the preceding week. I want to book, get there and that's it. I don't want to spend 20 whatsapp message going to and fro, pre checking in etc. At one point I asked that they stopped messaging me. Ridicolous request like 'let me know when you are 10 min away'. How should I know that?? My word. It was fine but all the stuff before is way too much, felt like I was booking an overseas trip with the amount of interaction required. Poeple value their time and I don't want to spend it messaging you guys, I want my stay to be simple and easy.

Very nice stay. I feel there should be more coffee and tea and even biscuits. The wine gift was a pleasant surprise.
We were kindly received by our hostess at the time as agreed. Everything was explained to us nicely and what was needed during our stay was available in the unit. The unit is walking distance from Canal Walk shopping center and has a good location. However, be aware that the cleaning fee charged is only for after-departure cleaning. Towels and linen are also not changed unless additional fees are paid, which is only a problem if it is a long stay. There are carpets in the unit that need a good cleaning.
The only negative was the TV viewing. I think clients would really appreciate some live TV, even if it is basic SABC or the lowest DSTV package. This really put a damper on my stay. I like to stay up to date and not just watch movies and series. Also, consider sports enthusiasts.

House rules
A standard key & breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The holding amount depends on the length of stay and the standard of the apartment and may be changed at the owner’s / management’s discretion.The holding deposit is completed through a secure link with a credit card. This is merely a hold on the amount and released within 14 days after checkout if no claims were reported. If no credit card is available for the holding deposit, the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank and reflect in our account before arrival. We will then request a bank confirmation letter to process the refund back to the guest's account.
If none of the two options above was actioned a refundable cash/debit card payment must be made before check-in can be completed and there would be a min fee of R150 applicable for the processing of the refund back to your account. No cash refunds will be allowed.
No keys will be handed over without the above.
A late check-in fee is applicable for check-in after 18:00.
