The main lodge, being on the banks, boasts extraordinary views of the Olifants River and, on a clear day, the Blyde River Canyon. The main lodge comprises 3 bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, families, and larger groups alike. The rooms contain queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There are 2 structured tents with communal bathroom facilities located 30 m from the tent platform.
The common areas include the communal fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing lounge with tea- and coffee-making facilities and an honesty bar, a dining room, lapa, swimming pool, and restricted access to the gardens with seating areas to enjoy the river views and wildlife. There is a viewing deck which is enjoyed by many, overlooking the gardens and river and facing the 2 beautiful sycamore fig trees. Wi-Fi is available at no cost and is accessible throughout the property.
The lodge offers morning and late afternoon game drives and guided game walks within the reserve. Please note that there is no self-driving or night driving allowed within Parsons. There are also plenty of local attractions in the area, which you may self-drive to or you can opt-in for use of a guide for the day.

7 guests' feedbackVery peaceful and beautiful.
The hosts share their passion for the bush. The view from each point is like watching a living portrait of the best of nature. If you like real bush contact, this lodge is for you.
This is the ideal bush break for all nature and wild animal lovers! The setup is out of another world! You cannot get closer to nature while still being comfortable! The hosts, Paul, Victoria and guide Kyla are a winning team, ensuring that all your needs are catered for! Paul's love for and knowledge of the fauna and flora makes this an unforgettable experience and the go-to place for a fantastic bush break! They live up to their motto: Arriving as guests and leaving as friends! We will go back again and again!
The room we stayed in is one of two rooms. The rooms are part of the lodge which is occupied by the manager and his wife. We were the only guests. If there would have been other guests, we would have used the lodge's kitchen and braai area etc. had to share. The lodge is remote and 20 km from the entrance to the reserve.
Paul and Vicky are fantastic hosts as is Kayla. Fynn and Mila are the cutest and provide another level of entertainment.
Beautiful views and good hospitality. The safari guide was also very good. I would strongly recommend this location for any bush lover. However a few things can be improved: 1. The map to the lodge was not accurate and obviously google maps is useless when you are in the bush. 2. The terrain of the road to the lodge is not ideal for small vehicles, would have appreciated it if the host alerted us when we asked them.
Sjoe, dit was ongelooflik gewees. Baie vriendelike mense, lekker kos, mooi area, so rustig, maar ek sal hulle beslis aanbeveel. Sal beslis weer gaan. Baie dankie. Baie diere ook gesien, mal oor die groen grasperk.
