48 guests' feedbackThe stay was very nice.
We spent an amazing time at Maningwe Safari Guest Lodge with our family. We were made to feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as we arrived. We were delighted to discover that the house owners were more than happy to help with any special requests or exceptions we needed, especially as we were travelling with our active 3-year-old daughter. We felt completely at home because of the cosy furnishings, roomy, spotless rooms, and comfy mattresses. The pool gave the whole family hours of fun, and the gorgeous kitchen was an added plus. The thrill of being so close to wild nature was amplified during our visit. In addition, features like a dishwasher, washing machine, uncapped WiFi, and backup power made our trip stress-free. Maningwe is a fantastic choice for families seeking an amazing safari experience with exceptional hospitality.
It was a very nice holiday, the cottage is fully equipped and we got everything that is advertised on the website. Will definitely stay at the accommodation again.
It was so well appointed - you have everything you need. Would recommend anytime. Very nice and modern place!
This is one of the nicest places to stay in, everything we needed was there. It is very well equipped place. There is nothing that can improve. Thank you for a very nice place for us to spend 3 days. All the wildlife that comes past our house is a big plus.
Very nice and modern house. Very well furnished. Spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a guest bathroom. Lots of beautiful wildlife around the house with nice braai facilities.
Was very nice. Very nice place.
Maningwe is exactly as they advertised and more. It is value for money and the environment and memories you build there are unforgettable! Thank you for your good hospitality! We had a great time at, and will definitely see you again!
My second visit to Maningwe and a winner every time. Everything you need in the house is there. The addition of the washing machine and dishwasher is a treat. M,ens are going to want to stay longer. Lots of animals. Will definitely book again and recommend to others too.
Crazy variety of local animals there to greet us within minutes of our arrival!
Will visit Maningwe again.
Best place, value for money!
Neat, modern, well appointed self-catering unit.
Beautiful clean place!
Facilities beautiful but the houses too close to each other, no privacy.
It was indeed a very peaceful, tranquil stay.
Maningwe is extremely well equipped. Lots of wildlife around the house. House is excellently equipped, and everything was in working order. The owner (Maryke) was very quick to respond to queries. Many animals such as kudus, forest goats, zebras, pigs, divers visited us. Maybe a good idea to make the porch/braai area a little safer?
The house has everything one needs. We really enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend it. It would be nice if there was an inverter during loadshedding, but it didn't bother.
The only inconvenience was that the TV was mostly inaccessible.
The house is well equipped with nice kitchen and bathrooms. The air-conditioner also works well and was a plus.
Carrying capacity was a problem, provide alternatives e.g. inverter or solar.
First of all, many thanks to the owners of Maningwe. What was advertised is what you get. The house has everything you need to relax in the forest. The kids really enjoyed the Netflix. Many animals came to visit: kudus, warthogs, zebras, ibex, divers etc. but the nights were the most entertaining. Many thanks to Maningwe (Maryke) we will definitely visit again. Forest greetings.
Can't wait to go again.
Unfortunately we had builders right next to Maningwe who made a lot of noise during the day.
The accommodation itself was faultless in terms of comfort, cleanliness, decor, equipment, etc, but building operations spoilt things. I have been to Marloth Park at least 15 times. Its main attraction is the peace and sense of solitude one normally gets there. You do not normally see another dwelling unit as the trees and vegetation provide a screen from neighbouring buildings. So you do not expect to arrive to hammering, sawing, drilling and shouting which is what we had every day from 08:00 until 17:00 and all taking place within 20 m away. Had we been forewarned we might well have opted for different accommodation.
Neat and spacious house. Decor is very beautiful and durable. The appliances are new and work 100%. There is no safety gate in front of the sliding door and loading the garbage bag into the car and dropping it off at the entrance gate doesn't work because it spills in the car!
The stay was wonderful with a house fully equipped with everything you need. The swimming pool and aircon are a must in that part of the country and our stay provided them all.
Nice family break even if the weather was not promising, facility had comfort. Just not nice to sit in a warm place during load shedding, especially not after dusk because then the bugs overwhelm you inside the house.
Would also suggest a gas hob or gas Cadac braai for load shedding - coffee on the open fire is a bit difficult, but a fantastic, clean, tidy place with everything you need. We will visit again.
Maningwe is a very neat, very well equipped property with very good and tasteful finishes. Would definitely recommend the place.
The unit is luxurious, the layout is good and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The furniture, kitchen accessories and equipment are of the highest quality and in 'almost new' condition - and everything works! Most days during our visit were cool, but the 3 air conditioners still a bonus. A variety of animals also stopped by every morning and evening for something to eat. Maningwe will definitely be our first choice when we visit Marloth again.
Lovely house, everything you need is there. Down side is there is a house been built close by which will take all privacy away, very sad.
We had an incredibly nice stay. One of Marloth's best units and value for money. Everything you need. Will recommend for sure. The only problem is the neighbours, yes for sure out of Maningwe's control, but an incredible nuisance. It feels like the neighbors are building inside the master bedroom with constant banging and workers looking through the windows, so it felt like we had no privacy and were living with closed curtains all the time for a little privacy, so we couldn't see the outside world. We were there for a long weekend and the neighbors never stopped chopping. Maybe lace curtains could create a little more privacy?
Neat and clean, with everything you need.
House is nice and tidy, everything you need is there. Interaction with the animals visiting the house was fantastic.
House is very practically furnished; everything you need is there. Luxurious interior. Very cozy. Really a place to recommend.
The house was just the right size, enough for a small family. Location was spot on, nice and quiet. Would definitely go back there again. The hostess was very helpful with us as well.
We had a great stay! Will definitely go back again.
Had a lovely stay. house is clean and tidy. Everything one could need is there. Will definitely stay there again.
Maningwe is a very nice house with everything you need, the only problem I would say is the carafe roof, there isn't one and with temperatures getting to 41 I think they need to look at it, but yes, would recommend.
Cute neat house, very tastefully furnished. The hostess was always in touch with us with information we needed.
We had a great time and had a nice rest at Maningwe in Marlothpark. We recommend the cute little place anytime.
The house was very neat, aircons in rooms and swimming pool for the hot days.
We relaxed well in the bush. We enjoyed staying at Maningwe. The owner understand good customer service. We had a minor problem about the stove but he responded well.
See stars.
Everything was perfect, from the house to the forest to the service we received. We will definitely come back.
Thank you very much for a beautiful, clean house. We enjoyed it incredibly much. The interaction with the animals was out of this world. Will definitely go again.
Our children enjoyed it a lot. The hostess has good taste. It is convenient and practical. Will go again, enjoyed it a lot.
