72 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed it, the houses are nice and clean. The heated pool is nice and warm and sparkling clean. The owners and all the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit them again.
Well appointed chalet. Swimming pools are beautiful. Staff is very friendly. Game drive is a must. All the wildlife was an experience. Walter went out of his way to make it a great weekend for us.
Had a nice game drive. Children caught nice fish. Clean bathrooms. Nice hot water pool. Pleasant staff.
The hot water pool was so nice and the kids really enjoyed it. My son fished and we all had a great time and we could rest, go for a nice walk and watch the birds and the animals all the time.
We just love going to Manzi Maningi, always enjoy the stay, lovely owners and Alta is always at our service. If we want to really rest, we go here, very peaceful and love the game drives. Thank you for brilliant hospitality️.
We had a wonderful stay. Very calm.
Definitely lovely silence.
Great place to get away and enjoy the bush and peace and quiet with your family.
Very calm. The other staff are friendly and helpful.
Very nice stay. Bulbs should be checked. Not all lights work, especially on the porch, which makes it dark to walk back to the chalet at night.
I would recommend a small shop to supply basic necessities as you are far from any shops or stores. Also, the dirt road from Brits was terrible and long (there should be a warning to clients travelling in sports cars or sedans to not use this road and use the alternative route).
Very calm and friendly reception. Well equipped. So quiet, slept very soundly with only forest night sounds to lull me.
Affordable, hot pool too cold. Would have liked warmer.
The reception of visitors is poor, no ear layout, brochure with what to do, etc. not available. The resort is clean and tidy, but the indoor pool floor is permanently wet with standing water that does not dry up. The cutlery, pots and pans need attention, really not up to standard. The resort does not offer much for teenagers to do and one soon gets bored. Road is very poor.
The WiFi only works at the pool area - no WiFi in the chalets.
Very nice campsite, clean bathrooms, ideal for a family.
Very relaxing, just a shame their vehicle to go game viewing was broken?
Nice getaway place, just wish they would hang fly catchers around outside. Value for money. Thank you very much.
Pleasant place to go if you want to get out to a bushveld. Affordable for 2 families. The hot water pool was nice and warm especially in the evening. It is a self-catering unit so take whatever you need as there is no shop on site. There are also no shops nearby. The 7km dirt road was a nightmare to drive, especially with the rain. Other than that it was nice and peaceful. Unit was nice and clean. There is also a trampoline and a climbing frame for the children, along with a nice cold water pool to enjoy.
We had a very nice stay and the pool and restaurant area were an asset.
Just make sure you take what you need, food, drinks etc.
Alta was very friendly and even found us something in town when she went there. We were disappointed about the hot water pool which was quite cold. Our bathrooms were only cleaned once a week. Patience was very friendly and our daughter loved her. All around a peaceful getaway.
The pools are very clean and well maintained, but unfortunately the bedding was stained and the mattress quite cooked. The soils are clean, but very dry with a lot of dust. The cottages are not very well equipped and the gas geyser did not work.
If you want to get away and seek silence, Manzi Maningi is just the place.
Great, was clean and fun, relaxed, safe and secure.
Except for the 8km gravel road which was a little tricky in some parts with holes and bad corrugated surface which shook the caravan quite a bit, the rest of the weekend was wonderful. We were the only Campers in the caravan park, although the chalets were pretty full but we had the swimming pool and hot pool to ourselves most of the time which was great. Saw plenty Giraffe and other antelope. Will definitely visit again but will try the bush camp next time.
Great stay. Enjoyed it.
Would just appreciate a TV for kids.
Kids loved the warm water swimming pool and enjoyed fishing.
The indoor hot pool was a bonus for me. Just short of towels in the chalet. Miss a small shop with the necessary.
As a family with children, ice cream would be very nice if it was for sale.
Nice break in the forest. Comfortable braai area at your unit. Neat, clean and well equipped units. Very nice restaurant, bar, hot and cold swimming pools and climbing frames for little ones!
Our stay was short ant sweet but the time was well spent and very relaxing!
Friendly staff, beautiful peaceful place.
Might just want an air conditioner in the room in the future. Other than that, great. Nice getaway place if you want to enjoy the tranquility of the forest.
The resort is nice and clean and safe.
Was nice and facilities are pretty neat. The pillows were very mushy and not nice at all. Other than that everything was perfect.
Is there a place that you can just relax? Yes, there is, Manzi Maningi is that place. It isn't overcrowded like other resorts that you feel you moved to just another rat race. It is calm and relaxing. Go for a long walk in nature. Go for a swim or just sit and chill in the swimming pool. That is how you get rid of the spiderwebs in your rat race life. Thank you, Manzi Maningi.
Manzi Maningi definitely is value for money. The place is neat and modern. The indoor heated swimming pool was cold and not ideal for winter. The pillows were too soft and guests should rather take their own pillows.
We had a nice time. The accommodation is very comfortable. Might just suggest they put up curtains that can close because the blinds that are up shine through and you don't really have privacy. When the lights are on in the evening, you can see all the way through the chalet, as well as if you want to get some sleep in the morning it is very light. Our Chalet 14 had those type of curtains. You come from the town to get away from all the lights, then the chalet is also light. Furthermore, we had a very good time.
Was nice and quiet, would book there again.
The weekend was very nice. The kids enjoyed it a lot. The only negative aspect is the lack of clearly indicated stands and direction indicators after the gate.
It was beautiful and the scenery is awesome.
The dirt road needs attention and pitches have no grass. Dirt road is only suitable for off-road caravans.
My son and I really enjoyed it. The natural beauty and the tranquility. Manzi Maningi is an affordable and delicious game farm. The bathrooms are very nice and comfortable. The campsites are quite large and there is lovely space and trees. Truly a nice place.
We had a really nice stay. The unit is clean and tidy and well equipped. The private boma is a nice treat. The game drive was wonderful and the scenery beautiful. The shower was a big problem though. There are only 2 temperatures. Fire hot and ice cold. The indoor swimming pool was not very warm either. It would also be nice if there would be a shop as it is far from the town. Other than that, no complaints.
The accommodation is absolutely value for money. The swimming pools, lapa and playground of the children are well maintained. The game drive is a must with every visit. The peaceful environment and nature is an experience that will soon be repeated.
Very peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.
Nice and tranquil. Value for money.
The environment is clean and tidy. The natural beauty is noticed and the wild animals distracted from everyday life. A very relaxing place and peaceful.
We were far from other people, no noise after 21:00 and very friendly people. I have recommended the Manzi Maningi Private Game Lodge to one of my colleagues.
Very peaceful woodland atmosphere, not too far from the city.
Value for money. Clean neat chalets and camping site. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful scenery and game viewing. Swimming pools very clean and the entertainment facilities also good.
Was very nice. No shop or restaurant at lodge. Water at swimming pool was clean. Nice for a getaway.
See stars.
I booked this holiday for my close family as a Christmas gift and they were definitely very impressed with the holiday. I'd definitely recommend the resort to anyone, it was quiet, peaceful, tidy, clean and beautiful!
The gravel road was quite rough but the peace and wildlife made up for it. Facilities were very clean and neat. Often spotted giraffes at the dam from a short distance. Staff friendly and helpful.
I booked through LekkeSlaap and my reservation was 100%. However, the rest of my family booked directly through Manzi Maningi and Manzi Maningi got the bookings wrong and did a double booking. This is extremely unprofessional. The idea was to get away and rest and you deal with the stress. They handled the whole situation very badly. I would not recommend them.
Manzi Maningi creates the right woodland atmosphere where one can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. We were very private because the chalets are located some distance apart. The hiking trails are very beautiful and we walked a lot and enjoyed the surroundings. The warm water pool is great for swimming and relaxing at any time of the day. We will definitely visit Manzi Maningi again.
Neat and clean. No loud noise. Top quality accommodation. Will visit again.
We had a great time with Alta. The place and surroundings are very nice, clean and tidy. Very wild seen, can recommend it to everyone anytime.
The dirt road is horrible to drive on. The camping site is quiet where goats run through. The entertainment area is nice and cozy and the pool (cold and hot) is nice and close to everything. Bathrooms are neat and beautiful. The place is ready for a night or two's stay. But the road is horrible and a car can be badly damaged!
Our mountain bicycles were stolen at night even though chained to a tree and they did not warn us that this has happened before at the place, the warm pool was cold and green, the entrance gate to the farm broke down and was standing open at times and there was no inventary list.
Thank you very much for the lovely time we were able to relax with you. It was really nice and relaxed and with the fact that we didn't have to leave the camp until 14:00, it was really great because now there was no rush.
We really enjoyed the weekend, it's very peaceful and just what we city jays needed.
It was very nice. Especially liked the privacy.
We had a wonderful stay! Would just make a suggestion to maybe start a small cafe, or maybe just sell small snacks like candy. It would also be great if the bar area maybe served light meals or breakfast. Other than that, the place is definitely worth a visit. We really had a great time and relaxed.
Please see the stars.
Camp facilities were very good, ablution well laid out and private.
We are extremely disappointed that the chalets are not cleaned. The reception we got was unprofessional. It was "here's your key #2". Not where it is, or how it works or any other information. We didn't meet the owner, but his house's alarm went off every night. The chalets are beautiful and the braai area was very nice.
