6 guests' feedbackWe were lucky to stay over for the heavy snowfall event of mid September 2024 - what an experience! With Maplewood's solar power system and gas stove/geyser/heater, we were able to stay cosy and contented during the area's 3 day general electricity outage. An absolute bonus! The cottage was well equipped with everything needed for a comfy 5 night stay. Izak and Johanna were attentive hosts and the complimentary farm milk and homemade rusks were a hit! When Sani Pass thaws out we'll definitely be back for another stay at Maplewood!
Very hospitable couple. Spacious, clean and tidy place. Nice treat with fresh milk and home-baked biscuits.
Good value for money. The living room and kitchen let you feel as if you're at home.

Johanna and Izak are great hosts, very accommodating and welcoming. The accommodation was perfect for my needs, very comfortable, clean and had everything you need. I will certainly be staying there again when I need accommodation in the Underberg/Himeville area.
