Incessantly good service, neat, clean, friendly, new, and happy, are our words. When you travel so much, you always want good Wi-Fi, a bathroom and a good night's sleep. It was just the right place.
Neat rooms with attention to detail. Linen, towels etc. is beautifully clean. Communal kitchen is well equipped. Can really recommend it, especially for groups. Will have a good time there.
Farm atmosphere, quiet and peaceful.
Very nice place to stay just 2 km from Marakele National Park. The shared kitchen, braai and socializing area is well furnished. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the Njalas on the site and the owners' dogs.
Had a nice stay. Cool off in the pool. Wild seen around the room.

Beautiful, peaceful place where everything is clean and tidy, in nature. Lots of birdlife and goats roaming around. Service was excellent and owners are very hospitable. Would recommend place to appreciate surroundings or just to be quiet in the woods.
Place gives an "in-the-forest" atmosphere that makes one relax with many different birds and even a few nyalas walking around there. Very friendly and helpful owners and the accommodation was excellently clean and tidy with the necessary items such as coffee, clean bed linen and towels, small fridge, cutlery, etc, etc. Their joint braai lapa/kitchen is excellent and what a surprise was the outdoor bathroom if you want to use it. Thank you very much again for a nice visit, can highly recommend it.

Kind hearted people. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Will definitely visit them again. Incredibly neat, clean rooms and equipped with everything needed. Overall something special and the location and atmosphere is perfect.
The host and hostess were really very hospitable and made us feel very much at home. Our room was comfortable, very neat and clean and had everything one would need. I would stay there again anytime and can recommend Marakeli with great confidence.

Many thanks to Danie and Christa for a wonderful break and clearing of the mind, your hospitable welcome and nice visit around the fire. The three days were just what we needed. We arrived as guests and bade farewell as friends. You will definitely see us again. The rooms are luxurious and well equipped, tidy with a daily cleaning service. The communal kitchen has everything one needs for cooking, barbecuing or any "Masterchef skills" you want to show off. I can strongly recommend Marakeli as a luxurious but affordable accommodation option, close to the Marakele Wildlife Park main gate. Just ask Danie, he will show you the best routes for wildlife viewing.
It had been wonderful, hospitality had been breathtaking. Thank you very much and will definitely visit you again.
Owners were very hospitable and approachable. Even picked us up where we turned off and were NOT sure of the road to the guest house at all. We should mention that it was late in the evening.
