The apartment was clean and had a number of extras such as a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a microwave and access to Netflix. We were able to walk to the beach and a number of restaurants and shops are easily accessible.
The stay was excellent. The unit is far enough from the sea so that you don't hear the waves and very nicely sheltered from the wind, but close enough that you can walk to the beach. The instructions were clear and no misunderstanding was experienced. We really had a nice time.

We had a really nice stay. It is a neat house with everything needed. We could easily go to the beach and the shops around the corner made everything so convenient. The customer service was amazing and clear. We would love to come and holiday in the accommodation again.
It was truly one of the best December holidays yet. Incredibly neat place and bitterly friendly owners. Couldn't find the unit in a cleaner and more comfortable condition. Modern, spacious and perfectly located near the necessary shops and eateries. Beach is literally walking distance. Our 6 adults and 2 year old really enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely go back again.
Accommodation was excellent. As new, as working and there is basically everything you would need or want to use. The place is indeed very hot in January. An extra fan wouldn't hurt.

We arranged accommodation long before the flood drama in KZN, a week before our scheduled arrival the owners contacted me and invited me to cancel for free if I no longer want to come to KZN due to no water and power at times. We decided to push through and make the best of a bad case and I have to say it was the best decision we could have made as a family. Yolande kept in contact with us about the water and power situation including news videos and reports about water and also the load shedding schedule from the time we said we were going to go. Maratea 16 exceeded our expectations with very neat and modern facilities and a place where you immediately feel welcome as if it were your own, clean and everything you need even the swimming pool came in handy I will definitely stay there again not only about the facilities but the excellent service of Yolande immediately made the shortage of water and power a better day in summer.
I don't know what was more beautiful, the place or the owner. Helped and assisted us so nicely. The place is so homely and conveniently quiet. Very nice and neat. And value for money, very nice and modern. We had a really nice stay. It's close and easy to get to shops and beaches.

The place is much bigger than we expected, and would 100% recommend it. The house is very comfortable and close to the sea and shops. We can't fault it and hope to go back again soon.
Yolande was very helpful and the information provided was complete. The unit is well located, safe and very well equipped. It was also very clean and tidy. The view of the sea is limited, but it is indicated as such in the marketing material. We will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Perhaps a suggestion even if it is self-catering: to perhaps provide a starter pack for the first night in brown bags for coffee/tea, sugar, milk (only for 2 people) and then a small towel for drying hands, a hand soap and a small amount of dish soap with one washing machine tablet. Should you be tired and arrive late, it only helps you to survive the night and if not make you feel so clinical.
The unit is very modern and beautiful. Plenty of space and not cramped. Also located nice and close to als. One can walk where one wants to be. Yolande gave us brilliant customer service. Well done, we will go there again.
