As a family, we were well received at the guest house and all facilities were explained to us. When asked about where we could eat, the host was also not short of recommendations and after following his advice, we were pleasantly surprised with delicious meals.
Marico was full and was moved to the guest house. I had a lovely room. It was huge with a much-needed aircon. No water during load shedding and no milk for coffee in the room.
Unfortunately not by default. The place is very old and needs an incredible amount of work. One room had no water, and at reception it was only said "Oh the water." The same room has a lot of water damage and mif.
There was no hot water in #11. The wifi password is not shared. On two occasions before 16:00 no one was available at the reception. Was not asked if there was interest in breakfast (as advertised). After a complaint we were moved to a newly upgraded unit (#9) but it was again pointed out that the toilet was constantly leaking water. Cleaners should have seen/heard this and dealt with the water waste.

The place is very old but neat. Reception was very friendly. The room was clean and towels, tea & coffee were provided. The shower floor tiles were loose and there is no container for soap. Water was nice and warm. The air conditioner made a lot of noise, which helped to dampen the traffic in Gaberone. Would recommend a fan. There is no restaurant on site. Night guard on site.

I have been booking in the area for the past 2 years, I always find friendly people. The place is always clean, they deliver breakfast on time.

Would visit again. It's a beautiful, old, conserved setup with very helpful staff. The dinner with the steak was excellent!
We only stayed there for one night - unfortunately the whole town's water was off. The friendly staff went out of their way to bring us water in buckets from the neighbours' borehole. Thank you so much - we will be back again!
We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and neat. It wasn't to nice to not have any water, but we understand wat it wasn't the establishment's fault.
We were a group of four travelling from Botswana back to Pretoria and Johannesburg. While the establishment was in reasonable condition, reception service was basic. Despite me raising the issue with reception, in the end only one of our party had hot water for a sower during our stay. There is tell tale signs that there is no pro active management in place. In our room the light switches and the shower tap was installed up side down. The issue with the hot water is unacceptable, more so the don't care attitude of the staff. The owner did however give us a refund.
