59 guests' feedbackMarie's Flat was more than what we could ask. Marie really made us feel so welcome and at home from the beginning and with our whole stay. We felt like family when we left. The flat was very neat and spacious. Even with 4 people in there, we didn't feel cramped at all. We looked everywhere and I would say, real value for money - if you're seeking a blissful getaway. You could hear the sounds of the waves and it wasn't that far - I walked to the beach. The beds were absolutely divine to sleep on. Places where we've been before, the beds were most of the time an issue. I intended to go for walks early in the morning, but with such a comfortable bed, we slept later than usual. As there's no crime, you felt much more relaxed. We would really recommend it and we're already planning our next visit.

Had a great time in Gouritz, and had a nice stay in Marietjie's Flat. Everything that was needed is there, very nice braai area, and small, but neat accommodation and sleeping place. Will stay there again for sure!

Marie is a good hostess. The apartment is very neat. There is extra bedding, and provisions for when load shedding happens unexpectedly. We had a great time.
Marie's Flat is very well located in Gouritz and has everything you would expect from a self-catering unit. There is always hot water and the biscuits we received went down very nicely with the coffee.

Marie's Flat is an experience, a very personal place, extremely tidy. She goes out of her way to make the visit as comfortable as possible ─ she gave us a crate of wood for the barbecue (the car was too full of grandma's personal things, completely forgetting the wood!). I will definitely book there again and stay longer.
Place has everything and more you need for a nice break. Very neat, would definitely recommend.
All that was quite a source of concern for me was locked parking. Clearly this is still a safe village as few sites are fenced.

The place was very nice with everything you need. Only braai place is not as it is on website. And don't like the two chairs covered with goat skins at all. Other than that we had a nice stay.

I was friendly welcomed and had a lovely stay. Everything was clean and neat. It's been some time since I've enjoyed a holiday this much.
If you're looking for comfortable and affordable accommodation, this place offers value for money. The owners are very friendly and helpful while you still have your own privacy.
Was wonderful and such a privilege to stay in an area in our country where you still feel safe. The friendliness of the people also struck is, especially since we are from the city. Gouritz is the ultimate spot if you just want to relax and get away from it all.
The apartment was very neat and located close to everything. Uncle Jan and Aunt Marie made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped in. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to other people.

The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable. Jan and Marie are wonderful people who really go out of their way to be helpful. They might replace the living room furniture with something more comfortable, but we really enjoyed our time and would stay there again. We would also recommend the place without hesitation.

Even though the apartment is adjacent to a house, you are still private. The apartment is neat and well equipped and the price is right. The hosts, Jan and Marie, are wonderful people who immediately became friends.
