"Most enjoyable."

We really enjoyed our stay at Marina Glen. The weather was lovely. No 26 was very spacious and clean. Will definitely come visit again.

The Christmas tree was a nice touch, and the resort staff were friendly. We enjoyed sitting outside admiring the view of the surrounding forest and utilised the braai nightly (kinda had to due to the lack of a kitchen). The house did not match the pictures; there was significantly more furniture packed into the house, making it feel very cramped. The bedding seemed to have not been changed since the previous guests' stay - the sheets were dirty with visible bits of dirt. One of us is also allergic to bed bugs and woke up multiple mornings with bites. The stove was not in working order, but the oven at least worked. The microwave was also unusable as it had a terrible smell inside. Thankfully, they provided a gas bottle we could use to cook. The plates provided appeared to have not been washed properly by/after the previous guests; there were still bits of old food stuck to the bottom of many of them. The standing fan in the one bedroom was in bad condition, missing a section of the front cover grid. The braai was in terrible condition with large holes that caused the coals to fall out and cool down too easily, as well as the top grid being riddled with holes and "plugged" with tent pins. Lastly, the ceiling above the shower by the kitchen had significant mold. Then there is a dangerous drop-off with no fence or mitigation to stop a child/adult from falling off. A fence of some kind would, in my mind, be a necessity. Furthermore, the kitchen was a big downer with all the issues as it just made cooking so much more difficult.

Our stay at Marina Glen was excellent. The house and resort was clean and neat, with everything one could ask for. The resort is quite and peaceful and not too far away from the beach. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great time during the four days of our stay and really enjoyed Kent Bay beach, just a pity the gate for the shortcut from the complex to the beach was out of order.

We really enjoyed our time in Marina Glen, it was peaceful and private, as well as cozy. The water pressure is not good. Can't bathe. But everything else was good.

Really enjoyed our holiday but have been to the same unit before and it looks run down, bathroom roof started to leak the other bathroom smelled awful when we got there. JP at the office helped us and was very patient with us because we were a little later than we had planned and let know.

Big house, loved the 2 bathrooms! Just would have liked it if the hall with the games for the kids was open. Unfortunately it was never open, but otherwise very nice!

The unit was nice. The washing machine and tumble dryer did not work, however. The cutlery and crockery was a bit run down.

We are very serious about hygiene, and this place was exceptionally clean and tidy. The cottage is also particularly well equipped - every time we needed a pot, pan, sharp knife, tongs, even something to bake with, it was there. Although there were many cottages in the neighborhood, our unit was also very private. The view from the living room is breathtaking and one can even hear the river flowing by below. It is only half an hour's leisurely walk from the beach, which we walked a few times. I would definitely recommend this place! The only criticism I can possibly think of is that it wasn't very clear that towels weren't provided, and that caught us a little off guard. But other than that, there's really nothing else we could find fault with. We had guests who came to visit, and there was secure parking for them upstairs at reception, so that was also very convenient. I could write paragraphs about how much we enjoyed it!

We were 5 men on a golf tour and it suited us exactly. Nothing fancy but everything we need on tour. A nice braai, swimming pool for the summer and everything we could think of was there. Sanla Lake and Southbroom are a stone's throw away.

The apartment and resort were very pleasant. Will definitely stay there again. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the water pressure was very low and the hot water was not hot enough. Other than that, I can't find fault.
