Spacious, very well-appointed - delightful and comfortable.
It was lovely to visit here. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. The house is very spacious and although we were only 4 reasonably elderly people (2 very elderly), it is a very comfortable house and you don't get in each other's way. Everything you need and more is available. The sea is just across the street with a lovely comfortable promenade along the sea. There is a good selection of books to read and we would definitely want to come here again.
We had a wonderful stay. Our hostess, Estelle, was excellent. She went out of her way to help us and is so friendly. Everyone enjoyed the house. It's excellently located with a lovely swimming pool and literally by the sea. We think an extended family will have a wonderful holiday here.

This accommodation is absolutely fantastic! The house is beautiful, well furnished, spacious and very well equipped. The garden is large and ideal for our dog. The swimming pool is a bonus and we used it often. The location is idyllic - right on the ocean.
The location of 28 Marine Drive is great, it is opposite a famous tidal pool called Jan Rabie Tidal Pool. It was convenient to just slip over every now and then so our kids could go swimming and fishing. The house lives very well, and the large veranda and swimming pool were also a hit. I would highly recommend the stay.
We had a great time, everything was clean and tidy. The house is well located in front of the Jan Rabie tidal pool. All that was not good for us was the cell phone reception. We also didn't get the WiFi's details when we checked in, and we had to call around to get it, because it's nowhere to be found either. The house is equipped with all necessities.
Our family needed a very much special time away together. My Mother, two sisters and husbands, my two children with their partners, and my daughter-in-law. And my husband and his 27 year old son. Wow, that house worked perfectly for us, it couldn't have been any better. Thank you so much. We absolutely loved it there.
Everything you need for a short break or holiday is provided for you. The house is a short walk to the tidal pool, with a nice running/walking paved pathway along the beach. The pool was amazing. We had a very good experience and would definitely stay again.
Spacious and an excellent location. There is a pool and a tidal pool meters from the house. I will make this a travel destination again.
Beautiful restored house, enough bathrooms and well equipped. Enough space and nice view. Cell phone reception is poor, but it didn't really bother us.

So convenient with the house and separate flat. Comfortably furnished. And so spacious. It was really lovely. It would be nice if the flat had some basic crockery and cutlery though.

Beautiful house with kind of an old fashioned romantic beach house feeling! Wooden floor boards and window shutters are charming. Right next to beach, with a swimming pool and very spacious areas ideal for entertaining.
The house exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable, sparkling clean and had everything that we could have possibly needed. The location is wonderful. My Australian family were really impressed. Clare was so helpful in relation to meeting us to hand over the key and returned to assist us in collecting something that had been left behind. I do hope that we can find an opportunity to come again. Thank you.

Marine Drive Manor was the best for my group of friends they met all our expectations, thank you.
Marine Drive Manor is an ideal place for a large group of people with many adults. Although the house was built in 1926, it has been very well restored. The location near the beach and the beautiful walking route is ideal. Couldn't the city council just trim the bushes in front of the house a little lower, so that you have a sea view? The kitchen is very well equipped (although the 1 fridge is broken and the oven's grill does not work). The crockery all fit together (not like a normal beach house that is rented out with crockery that doesn't fit at all) and there were enough pots, pans, salad bowls, serving bowls etc. Maybe the glasses need to be expanded. Good red wine cannot be enjoyed in those goblets and the sparkling wine glasses were too few. The whole experience was really very good and we will go back there anytime. Thank you.
This is a wonderful holiday house for large groups, fully stocked and the location is perfect. I would highly recommend Marine Drive Manor. Perfect location with stunning views.
