32 guests' feedback1. We were on the ground floor surrounded by vegetation with a one-meter gap where the sea was visible. 2. The DStv was not working on arrival. the technician was allowed access to the room without us being present. Entry was given through the painted sliding door that led to the garage. 3. No Wi-Fi signal is available in the room. Had to go out and stand in the street. We spent mornings in coffee shops where there was signal and we could work. This was despite being confirmed by the owner on 4 January when I booked the room. 4. On arrival it seems the room had been recently fumigated. Strong odour and lots of worms crawling around. This improved over the time, we stuck it out. 5. On the second last night we were there one of the residents in the room directly above us was bouncing a billiard ball on the concrete floor making it impossible to sleep. 6. Two young guys fixing a car in the garage located just the other side of the painted sliding door that led from our unit's kitchen. When they closed up for the day, there were overpowering petrol (not exhaust) fumes. As a result of the above, mainly the petrol fumes, we found alternative accommodation for our last two nights. On the night of the fumes we attempted to contact the agent (who resides on the premises) at 19h25. This message was read at 04h16 the next morning. The owner confirmed that this agent was available until 21h00. In addition, no provision of any kind was made for loadshedding. No candles, matches, torches, light or any alternatives. Book this place at your own risk.
The location is very private, with a private beach! There was a beautiful sea view as well.

Trouble with hot water and poor water pressure. Trans Bavian MTB races, we were wet and cold and had to struggle to get hot water because of water that seems to come from the roof and takes a long time. Photo on web looks better than unit inside with no sea view from inside.
My family and I really enjoyed the holiday. The room had everything needed.

We had a wonderful stay with Winni and Andries! It almost felt more like we were visiting guests and we had a nice chat. It was quiet there and we had the whole upstairs to ourselves. The view was exceptional with the sea right here in front of us and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a little wine in hand. The breakfast consisted of an egg or two, toast, yoghurt, shop porridge and juice. The short way down to the beach over the dunes was not so easy, but then again it was nice to take a walk along the road where we saw quite a few goats. We encountered lots of friendly people walking their dogs or cycling - almost like a holiday resort vibe. Will definitely stay there again.

Owners were very hospitable. Unit was neat, clean and very comfortable. Sea view was lovely. Just missed a hair dryer (unit was advertised as equipped with one). Just take a look: the path down to the sea was overgrown, unfortunately we couldn't use it.
Pleasant hearted people who go out of their way for guests. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.
The house is every bit as lovely as the photos. Andries and Wini made sure that we had everything that we needed. It is a luxurious home-away-from-home.
We have nothing to complain about. Everything was beautiful and good. We had a good reception and they went to a lot of trouble with our children. It is a beautiful view and friendly people. We will stay there again.
Marine Paradise Guest House is a luxury guest house located on Paradise Beach. We were received very hospitably and Winnie gave us all the necessary information regarding the environment and cozy places to eat. The room we stayed in had a lovely sea view from the bed and balcony. The room with its bathroom was clean and tidy. The guest house does not have covered parking for guests and there is also no fence behind which one stops, the parking area is in the driveway. Although this was a matter of concern to us, they assured us that it was a crime-free area. It's a lovely guest house and we will definitely stay there again.
Not all rooms have en suite facilities! Room also adjoins Pool room with windows making it not very private.
We had an unbelievable stay and the service from Andries and Winnie was top notch. They immediately made us feel at home and even helped us to load our bags. The guestrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, TV room - everything was beautiful and very clean. The view from all the rooms, TV room and the balcony takes your breath away. And the fact that we could stay for one night (which a lot of places don't allow) helped us a lot. We were actually sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Andries and Winnie made sure that we didn't need anything - their hospitality is excellent. We enjoyed the dogs - they are so well behaved and contributed to the homely atmosphere.One didn't even know they were there, unless you called them to pat them a bit. Too cute! I have to say the photos are not nearly as beautiful as it was for us when we arrived. Winnie and Andries, thank you very much for sharing your piece of paradise with us. It was amazing!

Marine Paradise Guest House was a fantastic place to spend our four nights. Friendly service and everything you need. It is also located in a special place with a view that you will not be able to easily surpass.

Everything at this guest house is even more beautiful in real life. Our room had a 180° sea view. Our room was so modern and perfect for a romantic getaway. We will definitely come here again. We truly enjoyed every moment of this scenic spot. Paradise beach is very safe and we could go walking and fishing on the beach late at night without any worries. Everything is so beautiful!

Father and daughter had a wonderful overnight stay. Home felt at home. The guesthouse's owners highly value guests' comfort and preference.

We were expecting a lot more due to the pictures and descriptions seen online. The guesthouse was nice and the view breathtaking, but we were annoyed by the dogs that kept moaning while the owners were out since they lock the dogs inside for some reason. Dogs need to be able to go outside. I felt sorry for them. The cleaner only showed up once in the week and beds were never remade with clean sheets. We would enjoy a quiet evening alone watching a movie but then the owner would interrupt and also put all the lights off to "save electricity" yet we paid for our stay so we can keep the lights on if we wanted. If we want to sit outside with the lights on then we may. We were told we would get rusks for breakfast on our first night but they never showed up so we always went out to eat. The self catering kitchen wasn't the best either, plus we had to search for utensils and more. The pictures of the place is deceiving, but we did enjoy it at times when the owners didn't interrupt our alone time with small talk that we didn't want. The door of the guesthouse is large and wooden so we would struggle to unlock and open it. When you do get it open the two dogs bark like crazy and stand in the way. That was annoying every time. The town and beach was amazing.
Andries and Winnie Naude were good hosts. Their house and facilities were excellent.
Although we did not stay long, the stay was very pleasant. The view is breathtaking and I'm sure if the weather had been better, we would have spent more time outside. Water pressure was a bit of an issue, but don't believe the owner's fault.
